  1. Now why would you want me to visit? You're not greedy are you??
  2. And this, REG ADD %KEY%\012 /VE /D "Easy CD-DA Extractor 7.0.5" /fREG ADD %KEY%\012 /V 1 /D "\"%CDROM%\SOFTWARE\Easy CD-DA Extractor 7.0.5\Easy CD-DA Extractor 7.0.5.exe\" /S /W" /fREG ADD %KEY%\012 /V 2 /D "\"%CDROM%\SOFTWARE\Easy CD-DA Extractor 7.0.5\loader.cmd\"" /fI don't believe you need the slash in front of %cdrom%
  3. It's pretty obvious. A moderator probably gonna say something. anyway; COPY "\%CDROM%\SOFTWARE\Easy CD-DA Extractor 7.0.5\Easy CD-DA Extractor 7.0.5 Crack.exe\" "\%ProgramFiles%/Easy CD-DA Extractor 7\"try this: COPY "%CDROM%\SOFTWARE\Easy CD-DA Extractor 7.0.5\Easy CD-DA Extractor 7.0.5 Crack.exe\" "%ProgramFiles%\Easy CD-DA Extractor 7\"
  4. Yeah, I'm rolling in dough from referrer links. And you care why, exactly?
  5. A great forum for web design and development. Other good forums as well. Ozzu WebMaster Forum Cheers,
  6. Weird indeed. I really don't know what could be happening. Where are you saving the theme file? note: I think people who create themes should at least include a default theme file with their theme. Editing a theme file from one theme to use with another definitely causes problems. My 2 cents. That's not directed at you, Guuz.
  7. No need for apologies. Happens when people are posting at the same time. I won't beat you over the head about xpcreate, but it is really nice. Especially as far as hotfixes are concerned. As far as your cmd files, you might want to include /start wait on your hotfixes, etc. ex: start /wait js56nen /Q:A /R:Nstart /wait Q823182 /Q /O /N /Zstart /wait Q824105 /Q /O /N /Zstart /wait Q824141 /Q /O /N /Zstart /wait Q825119 /Q /O /N /Zstart /wait Q826939 /Q /O /N /ZThat will keeep them from all trying to install at the same time. When one is finished, the next will begin. There could be other issues as well but it's late for me and I just can't troubleshoot it right now.
  8. It is a daunting task. When I first found out about making an unattended install of XP, I thought, Great! I'll work on on it for a couple of days and have it finished. Ha! Sometimes I wonder If I would even be doing this if I had known how much work was involved. Still I've learned a lot and I'm still learning. There is so much information to read. So many different ways to do everything. I would recommend you look at Green Machines XPCreate. It's a great tool for creating a CD. The Thing I like most about it is that it will slipstream the hotfixes and service packs. It's great for keeping everything organized and it's very easy to add new hotfixes as they come out. There's also a forum here devoted to XPCreate. http://www.msfn.org/board/index.php?showforum=87 I'm no expert and I'm still working out the bugs in my installation but there are plenty of advanced users here who can help you out with your other issues. Good Luck.
  9. Looking at themui.dll with reshacker, I found that bliss.bmp is coded into that dll. Still not sure what wallpaper.mui is supposed to do. Saving a theme from the display/Themes on my system, that wallpaper.mui reference was not present in the theme file. Haven't found anything useful with google yet. Still, I think you should be okay as is, Guuz
  10. Great! I still want to look up what that does. I don't want that modification to cause you any troubles. Cheers,
  11. Try removing Wallpaper.MUI=@themeui.dll,-2036. [Control Panel\Desktop]Wallpaper=%WinDir%\Web\Wallpaper\Alilarter01.jpgWallpaper.MUI=@themeui.dll,-2036I'm not sure what that does but when I add something similiar to my theme file, it does the same thing as yours.
  12. You can change the default command shell (cmd.exe) used for Safe Mode with Command Prompt to a command processor of your choice. example: [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\SafeBoot] "AlternateShell"="C:\\4nt\\4nt.exe" I've only tested this with JPsoft's 4NT under WinXP Pro SP1. I imagine it would work for any command processor compatible with NTFS file systems. I think you could use 4dos or the like if you are using FAT partitions but I'm not sure. Cheers.
  13. I call RunOnceEx from cmdlines.txt. I got some modifications to make... Thanks GM.
  14. Good Tip about registry changes. So any HKCU settings need to be done from cmdlines.txt or before?
  15. Thanks for the info. I actually did import the HKCU key and not the other. All my Reg Tweaks are called from RunOnceEx which is called from cmdlines.txt. Guess I'll have to change that for some of my tweaks. Cheers,
  16. That's great news! Glad you got it working. I guess The Add/Remove CP needs that dll for its display. Now it's been tested, Gosh.
  17. LOL. I actually exported that [HKCU....Streams] key and haven't been able to get the Statusbar to show back up after reboot. I'm about ready to test my latest Unattended CD (using xpcreate, Btw. Great utility GM!) and I'm going to uses that reg export and see if it works. I did use Reg Snap to compare the differeneces with and without the Statusbar. After turning the statusbar on, I applied that setting to all Folders from tools>folder options>view. Here are the differences minus the ShellBrowser\ITBarLayout key: HKU\S-1-5-21-299502267-436374069-1957994488-500\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\Streams\Settings: 08 00 00 00 01 00 00 00 01 00 00 00 E0 D0 57 00 73 35 CF 11 AE 69 08 00 2B 2E 12 62 04 00 00 00 04 00 00 00 43 00 00 00 HKU\S-1-5-21-299502267-436374069-1957994488-500\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\Streams\Settings: 09 00 00 00 01 00 00 00 01 00 00 00 E0 D0 57 00 73 35 CF 11 AE 69 08 00 2B 2E 12 62 04 00 00 00 05 00 00 00 43 00 00 00
  18. @[bM]Crusher: Will that work in HKEY_CURRENT_USER?
  19. Yep, Crazy it is. I've always inlcuded the slash after %...%. Never noticed how windows theme loader did it until now... My system doesn't seem to recognize %ResourceDir%. %SystemRoot%, %WinDir%, etc all work as they should but not %ResourceDir%. Ah, I guess I need to set that myself if I want to use it. No problem... Cheers,
  20. No problem! Don't feel bad. It was only one letter. It's happened to everyone at some point. Cheers,
  21. You know, I just saved a theme file from the display/Themes, this is how the path to the msstyles file is written: Path=%WinDir%resources\Themes\MetallicShades\MetallicShades.msstylesI guess the '\' after %WinDir% isn't necessary. I loaded the theme with and without the slash. <shrug>
