  2. I had 6 but maybe I am not "affected" since French is my primary language. There is another study that says you can easily read a text with scrambled words as long as the first and the last letter are correct: FEHINISD FLEIS ARE THE RUELST OF YREAS OF SIFITNEICC SDTUY CMBIOEND WTIH THE ECNEIXREPE OF YREAS Maybe this is not a good example but you get the idea...
  3. In that case, ou should read the Forum's rules... anyway, welcome
  4. 4KB * 15 000 000 = 60 000 000KB 60 000 000KB / 1024 = 58593,75MB 58593 / 1024 = 57,22Go Crap! that's just 57Go of storage. And most of the time, Email images are stored only once on a Web Server... not in each Email.
  5. This is the best Idea I have heard in a long time concerning spam! Anyhow, they would find a solution to this new method in time...
  6. are you paranoid??? Not paranoid, I like to have a fast system but also a Huge Storage System. With those raptors, you can't store that much files... And don't worry about all this space on my drive. I keep ISO images of important Microsoft Volume Licence CD on my workstation. For now I have a 200Go hard drive and soon it won't be enought! P.S. I LIKE IT QUIET TOO! I can't stand to listen to fast SCSI drive whinning all the time
  7. I have about 2 weeks of vacations... starting on December 23 I think... Anyway I have a lot of Extra time due at work so I might take another week as well. I have to go see my brother to help him out with is business network! Wow what a great way to get away from the usual!
  8. HAAA in your face little scum! Merry christmas to all!

  14. Welcome to this addictive website! B)
  15. A month ago I've been reading a benchmark comparison of various Catalyst packages... and It wasn't the only one out there. I cannot remember where it was but a quick search on google should bring you some answer...
  16. SEARCH FUNCTION! THE ONE AT THE TOP OF THE SITE http://www.msfn.org/board/index.php?showto...nter+unattended
  17. Hum... I see. The best solution would be to find a Driver package wich is working for the SoundMAX hardware so it doesn't look elsewere. Or maybe you have a more "viable" solution. I really don't like the idea about removing my realtek sound drivers.
  18. Thanks! This is the clear answer I need! Do you know if this is fixed/bypassed/deleted in the DriverPack Sound? EDIT: All realtek drivers? or only a specific one to delete?
  19. Gee... it is happening everywhere! Thinkpad laptops Compaq Desktops ASUS motherboard it's spreading like a disease. ****!
  20. What is the current status of portcls.sys? I mean, I've been reading all the post and I can't get a clear answer. I an NOT using the DriverPack Sound for now but on my CD I have SoundMAX and Realtek sound drivers. If I remove the SoundMAX drivers, I still get an error (currently on a Compaq D530 desktop) Since there is no BIOS update available for all products having this issue, what is the best option? Disabling the sound controller in the BIOS doesn't always work either...
  21. This topic is Brand New! I started it only a month ago... that's fresh updates
  22. Ok, now I got my first hand experience with LongHorn as I installed into VMware. Speaking of the Installation Media, I'm pretty please with the new folder structure. FOLDERS: BOOT - wich contain setupldr.bin and bootfix.bin and fs_ext.sys (?) - that's all DOCS - one of the first folder to delete! contains a sample unattended.xml + 2 .htm information files - that's all SOURCE - contains 54 files, the biggest one is install.win (692Mo) SUPPORT - similar to Windows XP cd... with deploy.cab and others (to be deleted too) VALUEADD - second folder to delete! FILES AT ROOT: autorun.inf readme.htm setup.exe win51 win51ip winbom.ini - Oh! new stuff from WinPE So I like this new disposition. Really clean! I have created a unattended.txt file with the tool provided in deploy.cab but I was Expecting XML!!! It created a "regular" answer file not something similar to the example provided in the DOCS folder. Anyone got more info about the winbom.ini, unattended (XML or regular) and where we should put those files along with the $OEM$ folder (if exist in LongHorn)
  23. prathapml you are a wonder! B) I knew it would pay off someday when I started to use XML for website long before it was "popular" or "in"
  24. Hum... I just got my hand on LongHorn Alpha 4074 (crap! I just been informed that we are a member of MSDN and we had it in stock!) I did a research inside MSFN and on Google but I don't get revelant stuff to my simple question: LONGHORN + UNATTENDED Have you guys started to work on yours?
