I think u should take ur time when installing stuff. U should test programs out after install to make sure they work right... This will save u time later...

When u install XP it asks u what u wanna name the Directory... I don't think u can rename the directory once XP is installed...

I don't know... but one night I came home and found that someone had set up another network connection in My Network PLaces.. Now my machine is locked and no one touches it. The weird thing bout it is that the icon for that connection was somewhat transparent... I dunno which ports Netmeeting uses.. Also which firewall can I install on my machine which will be good and easy to manage?

That was happening to me a while ago, and I thought someone was stealing my connection.. Might seem funny but as soon as I locked my machine up (Internet Firewall, closed most of the ports, etc) It wasn't happening again... So it might be just that... I can't Netmeet with people now, or do some other things, but I rather not be able to do those things than someone stealing my connection. So you might want to take some precautions if you r not already. Let me know if it works for u...

I don't close the window down... I just stay on, unless I have to reboot or something... But I just refresh and stay on!!! WHY LEAVE! lol

There's also a program called Winwhatwhere It keeps a log of everything the user is doing. U can tell it to record pictures as well. U can set it to take a snap of the screen at whatever time intervals... It also let's u view a log of all the mouse clicks... Really neat program Winwhatwhere Investigator Hope this works for u

Spend 100 bucks and get a copy of XP or 2000... U can get it cheaper in some places, so do urself a favor... ME will complicate ur life.

Specs: 801.11 compatible modem ethernet over 512 MB RAM over 1.5 G MHZ 14.1" Display (has to be that size) XP Pro built in DVD drive touch pad (a must) can't weigh anymore than 5 pounds and 1" thin Let me know what u guys think!!
