" It's a great chip for Notebooks. It uses less power and it has built in Wireless capability. All in one, it's great. U get a lot more usage and power than u would with a regular Pentium chip in a notebook. The laptop I got my boss has the chip and whenever he goes into let's say Starbucks and t hey have wireless internet, he hops right on it. No need for a wireless card. U get one more open slot for another card and u get more power... it's nice.

Is this emulator cvalled Tiny Term.... U guys probably never heard bout it.. It's by a company called Century. Also this other program called Vr Link... The proggies r running fine, just certain aspects of them won't run properly. is there a way that I can assign her higher permissions just not allow her to install stuff??

U mean like share a .pst file?? I don't think u can share a .pst file, I mean u can but I doin't think multiple users can use it at the same time... U may want to import the contents of the file to those users who u wanna use it... and maybe try to synch them every other time... Just a thought

I don't want her installing anything also... That's why I have her as a USER and not anything higher....Any other suggestions??

change ur password.... make it very difficult to get... u also might wanna check ur machine for viruses...

Try re-installing the drivers... and make sure that the install directory is not in the TEMP directory...

I don't think u understood right.. what I wanna do is to give Tamara (for example) which is part of the USERS group on a machine, Admin rights to certain folders, not the whole machine. This person had to have Admin rights for certain programs and they fail to load or to run because she does not have rights to them. so what I wanna do is to give Tamara Admin rights so those programs can run properly. Or is there another way to do it, because some programs that I have installed on that machine do not run properly and they need to. Pls. Adv. Thanx

I'm doing it from a workstation logged in as a particular user who only has USER rights to the machine. But I want to grant Admin permissions to that user for that machine, which is the machine that they use everyday. They should not have permissions to certain programs and folders, but full for other programs and folders. Yes I can log into the machine with Admin rights cause I am the admin. ALso this user has already been assigned USER priviliges.

How can I give administrative rights to someone who's account is not an admin, but a User. I wanna control what a User has admin rights to and what not... Anyone?? I am on a network with a Domain controller and no Group Policies... So I want to do it from the PC itself. I want to do it on both XP and 2000. Thanx guys.

START problem This is the non-registry way to do it.

I had some favorites in my folder already and every time I put in more favorites it automatically put them in alpha order. Last week I imported some faves that I had in my computer at home and they r all in order but every time I put in new ones they go to the bottom of the list. Is there a way that I can fix that? At home I did the same thing and they automatically get put where they r supposed to go... I have full admin right the this XP Pro machine and I have all my updates. Anyone know?? Thanx!!!

I installed Zonealarm not 40 minutes ago and twice it did a memory dump. Said that certain files were locked. I don't know what to do, maybe it was a bad copy or something... Anyone heard of this before??
