Welcome to the forum dr15..... If by second machine you mean you have one copy of Win XP and used it twice this could be your problem. If this is the case did you activate XP on both machines? You only have 30 days to do this, did this time run out on the second machine?

PNY 256MB SDRAM PC133 MEMORY

We just had gotten rid of 4" on snow yesterday morning from it raining all morning. Then it turned back to snow and we got 5" of fresh snow. Over the next week they are saying we will get another 5 to 8 inches of snow on top of what we got last night. I am over winter........

Here in central Indiana we have been having 2 and 3 inches a day for the last several days. Also ice to go under each layer of snow. I am over it that is for sure.........

Well if I were the president here is what I would do. 1) Pull all U.S. troops from the world and bring them home to defend our shores. 2) Export all that do not have a valid U.S. citizenship. 3) Tell the rest of the world that since they are so smart let them protect themselves. ( Of course after WW3 was started by a 3rd world country we would have to go in and bail out the ones that are so smart (again).... )

This is a sad event. To loose the lives of such brave and noble people is tragic. My heart goes out to the family's of the astronauts. For someone to put items up like this on e-bay is just plain sick IMHO...

No not really, I am not the kind of person that trys to instigate trouble or get my kicks from getting a rise out of someone. I am just letting it be know that there are people out here in the real world that are not apart of the " Beautiful people " click. It is not easy for folks like myself who do not have looks, money or animal magnetism that most have. I know that there are other people like myself out there but they are afraid to say these types of things because the will be shunned by others and looked upon as weird and strange. Other people will make fun of you and talk behind your back and point and leer. In this case since I am male I am treated badly by females, this is just a truth and one I have to deal with. But I do not have to be ashamed to show my face because of it. I do not buy into the peer pressure that is out there for me to get into my place and stay there and keep my mouth closed and be a good little boy.

This has nothing to do with relationships, it is allllllllll about control, which they want and we as hormone driven males tend to give them. Shame on us.... As far as requirements go I have not meet a female yet that meets my requirements that will have anything to do with me. So I am in the 4 and below category. At least I admit it. Ah, but do most men not have unfair standards that women should meet? We all know that some [not all] men do just as some [not all] women do. When in a relationship you have to try to view things from your partner's perspective - even if you do NOT agree with it - and be sensitive to what they need or feel. Some might call this conforming but it's really not. You treat your significant other the right way and you'll be rewarded many times over. You do this because you care, not because you want the reward, mind you. This is really the golden rule. Treat others as you would like to be treated. All I can say is you must be above a 5 and have 1 or all 3 of the required items on the list. Sounds like the ladies have you washed really good. You will as time goes on if you walk with you eyes open find out the truth.......... If you play with a Black widow you will mate for life, only once...........

OK, this article is just BRAIN washing 101. This is learned by females in early childhood in there secret "How to control a Man and destroy him in the process" hand book. This does not work and will not work if the man 1) does not have looks, 2) is not well endowed, 3) has no money or the potential to have money ( this will work if the man has a combination of any of the three ). The only way a ugly man can get a female into bed that HE desires is with money or to be well endowed, this is a fact as any ugly man will tell you. I am a ugly man (sad but true) and this just plain fact. This article should start out by saying "on a scale from 1 to 10 if you are a 5 or higher read on". Talking to a female if you are lower on the scale than a 5 is a wast of time because all she will do is run into someone else arms when you are done talking...... Do not get me wrong I am happy for all you men out there that meet the unfair standards set by females, but for the rest of us this just does not apply. IMHO..

I agree with FthrJACK about looking into your PSU. Here is some good reading on what one should look at for the best PSU for your system. Remember that as you add new goodies you are going to need MORE POWER! I have 550W PSUs on 2 of my 4 systems. They are not near as costly as they use to be. I use Antec and you can get them for around 100 USD....

I believe that it would use both at the same time. I just have one hard drive with 4 partitions, I place the page file on a partition that does not have the OS on it. If you only have 2 hard drives I would first try the drive without the OS.

It has been recommended that the page file not be on the C: drive (or where the OS is located). Also to split the page file up among hard drives. DO NOT split the page file up on different partitions on the same hard drive. I just read about this yesterday. However I am not able to find the url right now, when I do I will post it........

How big is the HDD? If you have a home network or are thinking of installing one you could use it as you back up file server. I have a system of this nature. What with the falling prices on HDDs you could set it up just to store important files one and if and when you have to clean install on any of the other computers on the network all you have to do is transfer the files from the file server ( or at least that is what I call it ). You can use any OS to do this because you will not be using the system for every day use.........
