i guess that vlite dont find the printer drivers which is a bad space wasted

i dont think that win7 pre - beta to beta or rtm will have significant performance increase just new feathers win7 is not new whole os its based on vista its nt 6.1 there not a lot work to do fmo win7 prebeta is much stable then vista sp1

if vista sp2 or server sp2 vs win7 have the same performance i wont be surprise

so any changes ? at performance etc...

i tested boot-time's win7 with 512mb ram and 1024mb ram ;o its the same 50second [ full screen vmware winamp runing on background]

vlite still work fine on win7 nuhi is the KING

win7 run gr8 on 512mb vmware maybe faster then server 2008 didnt try the sp2 tho

ur host os is 64bit ?

maybe the original files was bad already ? vlite just change the regs and remove files i duno how its happened

try install the wimfltr.inf from C:\Program Files\Windows AIK\Tools\x86 click right on it and install or copy the 3 files there to ur vlite dir

yea its knowed problem im guessing the updates cant complete cos u removed something with vlite i had no problem with removing this file all the system was good and not problem at all GL

remove pending.xml from winsxs and try again

i duno if its possible but here a way that might work rename windows folder to win and the rest of the os's folders install again and then use easyboot and bcdedit to update/add win folder ps try using unattain and change the program folder

download with flashget or any other app

config the service to auto with delay so u will have desktop first

hey i post info about that in my guide windows server 2008 topic but its less comps that vlite have and dont really removing efficiency like vlite but in windows 7 its gonna be different
