Using nLite, on Options page, tab "Patches", activate Uxtheme Patch. Also, in Unattended page of nLite, tab "Desktop themes", choose theme which you want to add, and which you want to be activated (under "Default theme"). Cheers
You will need to create 7-Zip Switchless Installer, guide here. And yes, it will be installed during first log on. You can add RunOnce on Unattended page of nLite. Cheers
Open Notepad, choose Save As, under "Save as type" choose "All Files", under "Encoding" choose "Unicode". Now for the "File Name" enter name you want with extension .ini. For example ENTRIES_UTORRENT.ini. Cheers
... doesnt disable wfp in your current windows installation Little thinking won't harm you. You can disable SFC using nLite on XP SP3 and then extract necessary files from CD and copy it to current windows installation. Cheers
Restart Options /norestart Do not restart after the installation is complete /promptrestart Prompts the user for restart if necessary /forcerestart Always restart the computer after installation Cheers
No, I never used that pack. I think I downloaded just logonui.exe, I did not extracted it from any pack. How do you mean "old"? It is almost same as Vista RTM log on screen, clone as you said. Cheers
bledd just told you. Go Start-Run, type services.msc, find service Windows Firewall/Internet Connection Sharing (ICS), put it to start automatically, and start it. Cheers
You computer will run just fine. In addition you can use nLite to tweak and remove necessary components from your XP install. I have one Pent2 (not my primary computer ), 350MHz and 256MB of RAM, running XP just fine. Since your have 512 RAM and faster processor, you'll be fine. It might be possible, but I would not recommend it. You should do clean install, and you should convert your partitions to NTFS. Cheers
This has been discussed before. Use search button. Some reports that theirs valid keys do not work on XP SP3, and other say that their keys works. Also, I read somewhere, that with SP3 RTM, you will not have this problem.
