  1. Just try this. Try to start Red Alert, and as soon as it crash open Event Viewer and see if there is any error appeared after launching. Error log may not mention RA2 at all. EDIT: You can try this program.
  2. Maybe you should post few of those errors from Event Viewer so we can figure what is the problem. Cheers
  3. And, how did you the figured that problem is in the "Application compatibility patch"? Is there anything in Event Viewer? Cheers
  4. Try to install KB928595. Also, make sure that you have correct version of dll files: acadproc.dll - 5.1.2600.3163 AcGenral.dll - 5.1.2600.3163 AcLayers.dll - 5.1.2600.2993 AcLua.dll - 5.1.2600.2993 AcSpecfc.dll - 5.1.2600.3163 AcXtrnal.dll - 5.1.2600.2993 This is from fully updated Windows XP. I did not know that game needs those files, I thought that you are setting compatibility to older system. Cheers
  5. OK, I hope that your next version is coming soon, since I want to use it on SP3 and you mentioned somewhere that few files are not patched. Cheers
  6. What about real Vista boot? I know that somebody will say that it is bad, but the goal of Vistapack is to transform XP as closest as possible to Vista, right? So you may consider this damian. Link from WinCert Forum. Also, you might add OOBE patching to your pack. There are few nice OOBE's at WinCert again, here is the link. I prefer this one: You may ask authors for permission there, I'm sure that they will agree. Cheers
  7. What? That game never needed "Application compatibility patch". I'm playing that game just fine without any "patches". Cheers
  8. All updates should work, but if some is not made for your office, slipstream for that update will fail (you will see that on log tab). You will not need to enter serial again. No problem, just ask what you don't know. Cheers
  9. Fox DVD Ripper Cheers
  10. It works with all Enterprise versions, and if you don't have that edition, follow the guide you mentioned. And no, there is no any negative impact, that will just allow you creating administrative install. Cheers
  11. OK, works perfect now. Cheers
  12. I don't know, it will be out when it's done. Cheers
  13. You don't have to believe me, but I know what I'm talking. I would not talk about something that I did not verified. I done a lot of tests in VMware, and every time I had to disable SFC, if I done some customizations. Maybe your small customizations will not create problem, but I always do some have ones. Cheers
  14. No, the program can not create ISO image, but next version will have support for that. And, there is no some guide. Just download program, and read Help file. If you don't understand some specific stuff, just ask. Cheers
  15. Hi, I'm having problems with editing the posts. Button for editing just disappeared. Same problem is with IE7/Firefox. I tried with deleting temporary files and cleaning cookies. Anybody know what might be the problem? Cheers
  16. So with this tool... I can make a customized version of shell32.dll and then compress it using the above then copy that file to my XP_SourceCDi386 to replace then I can make a bootable disc to install windows and it'll be the shell32 that I customized? 'Cause that'd be sweet. Yes. But in same cases you will have to disable SFC (Windows File Protection). You can do that with nLite. Cheers Does it keep a separate catalogue or something? Yes, something like that. Yes it have it's purpose, but I keep mine all the time disabled, and I did not have any problem at all. And if you don't disable it, in most cases only Safe Mode will work. Cheers
  17. You probably made some error in creating your Logon. Cheers
  18. So with this tool... I can make a customized version of shell32.dll and then compress it using the above then copy that file to my XP_SourceCD\i386 to replace then I can make a bootable disc to install windows and it'll be the shell32 that I customized? 'Cause that'd be sweet. Yes. But in same cases you will have to disable SFC (Windows File Protection). You can do that with nLite. Cheers
  19. Use this tool to compress your logonui.exe and then just replace the compressed file with one in the i386 folder. Cheers
  20. You must have SP2 integrated. You can not use links from the page, you need to download for French version from Microsoft web. Cheers
  21. Cheers
  22. I'm sure it is possible, but I don't know how to do it. Somebody else will have to help you with this. I would like to know this too. Cheers
  23. Here is example. If your 7zip installer iz named office2003.exe, you will add this to RunOnce in Unattended page of nLite: %SOURCE%I386\office2003.exe Of course, you need to copy office2003.exe to I386 folder. And, in case you want to ask, \ is not necessary after %SOURCE%. Cheers
  24. Theme will be activated during first log on. Cheers
  25. Version 1.5.5 Final is out. Cheers
