Many thanks for your suggestion, i dont have a windows xp cd, just a toshiba recover dvd set. Oh, well it looks like i am going to have to re-install everything from scatch...

@Gouki Yes i have installed updates for the last 18 months with no issues, problem only happed this month, installed my may ghost image, and then updates started to install 1 - 12 ok then 13 - 15 failed....

Hi all, Could someone please help me out, i have been trying to install the august updates and for some unknown reason the install failed each time error given is "Failed to Install Catalog Files". I understand that this may be due to the fact that i have installed over 150 hotfixes???? Have also tryed to install via windows update, - failed to install all updates..

Could someone help me out please? I am looking for a way to install all the Post SP2 hotfixes using say a bat file, i have found many ways to add these updates to a windows XP cd, but the problem i have is that the only CD's i have are the Toshiba Recovery sets, that are locked to bios details. Does anyone know if i can create a bat/cmd file that will install all the hot fixes available, and .net framework sp1.1 and media player......
