  1. I installed Linux a year ago and enjoyed it for three months. Due to the lack of support by its Office-like apps, I formatted its partition. I booted to WinXP desktop, ran PM, deleted the ext partition, then formatted it as FAT32. The partition was restored again without problems.
  2. Perfect! Thanks, benners! I ran it via a CMD. Is there another way to run it? Just curious!
  3. I think maktoob=letter! I've been a member at that site for 4 years now. I just gave it up because they don't have a messenger service.

    Binary

Yeah. And there are 10 kinds of people. Those who read this before and those who didn't.
  5. If the difference is like enuffsaid said, then there's no problem. I think menus, messages, help file, and other stuff would be understandable. Unless, there's something else I don't know.
  6. WOW! So, I'm not the only person on earth who uses this utility. Thank you man. Now, I'm not alone anymore. B)

    Total Copy

BurstCopy may be useful, too: http://www.burstcopy.com/ Available now is version 2.700 build 6921 (2.19 MB), not free however.
  8. Here's a good start for you: http://unattended.msfn.org/xp/runonceex_cd.htm RunOnceEx.cmd Creator creates your strings.
  9. Well! Now, it's over. However, I've got an idea but I don't like to share it now.
  10. WOW! All-In-One page.
  11. We can install the updates via a single batch.cmd!
  12. Then why don't we use the original compressed CDs? I mean without creating AIP.
  13. I recommend this:
  14. Oh, sorry! I was shocked over the last few days by the same problem reported by other people here, too. I'm using WinXP Pre-SP2, where that problem can't happen to offend me at all. If you use WinXP SP2, then it's probably related to SP2 not Office itself. You should have someone help you soon. Good luck.
  15. Yeah...this is what was used there on that thread. It should work.
  16. Really?! Re-create a new MST file and take care of your steps and choices. Did you choose nothing to install?
  17. You can use a JScript script to deal with that screen.
  18. Do you think really I'm not able to write a VBScript? Well, here's a working VBS for my version of JS. And yes, even a single mistake should prevent a script completely from executing.
  19. I can't believe that this is a true path. I imagine it should be: C:\Office\setup.exe TRANSFORMS=Unattended.MST /qb- Thus, you keep the original structure of your CD as it is. Or you mean that you put all files and folders of Office CD in the root of drive C:? However, you'd better report the error messages you've got.
  20. No problem! I wasted 4 CDs and 4 nights before I could make a usable CD. EDIT: I suggest you remove Alcohol 120% from your batch to see if it's causing the problem.
  21. Consider he could be patient for more than 8 hours this time. Plus, he changed his theme from UP to any1? Nice, Adiel. You can't be Adiel if you don't bump!
  22. What's illegal here, man? You've already paid the money. You alter whatever you like in Windows on your own machine. You do not distribute any modified or non-modified copy of your CDs. You're completely legal. As for the language, the LANG folder isn't intended for changing Windows GUI into alternate languages. It's there to install different languages on your machine, so that you can read documents written in languages other than yours. If you want your Windows GUI to display in different language, you have to use a language pack for this purpose. It's downloadable from the Internet.
  23. That one before extraction!
  24. Why not? Don't we wait ages for Windows to load!
  25. Doesn't /S work with the original installer?
