  2. [b:08457303c3]I deleted the last thread becuase my point ofr the post was for people that had dial up and slow slow connection to voice there options on how it loaded up. Now Im not looking ofr how fast the sig loaded up, I have installed a "preloader" in the flash sigs. This has or is suppose to allow the webpage to load and stop IE from locking up, thus allow for 56k to look at the post and not wait for the sig to load.[/b:08457303c3] Do not reply to this post if you have a flash sig of your own. Your sig does not have a preloader and BAH's sig does which I have installed..........AGAIN DO NOT REPLY IF YOU HAVE A FLASH SIG, the last post had 3 replys from people who had non-pre-loaders in there sig, thus making my test a complete screw up!!!!!!!!..[/color:08457303c3] Please if you are on a dial up connection responded to the loading time, Your help is appreciated -XPerties
  3. http://www.mushkin.com/cgi-bin/mushkin.storefront barnettrp is right. I dont ever cut corners for anything cheap nor do i go with what people say. I do alot of research and go off of benchmarks. Cruical is ok but would never use anything but mushkin in my systems. No reason to spend a few bucks cheaper for crap when you can have the best. -Xperties
  4. It might be because some installes of 98 you dont have the actually cab files or all the files compied over to the PC. I have done several upgrades from 98 and have sometimes had to insert the CD. Now it is true when you do windows update you do have 98 se installed. -Xperties
  5. sorry guys....Mushkin RAM is by far the best prefomance out there...benchmarks have proven it, look on Mushkins site on friday night or saturday for weekend specials. -Xperties

  12. [b:]suse lover - Howdy and welcome.Just a few questions How much RAM do you have installed in your PC's. Ive found out that the title bars being stuck and overlapping as you stated happens when your VID card and RAM are low on resources thus making the graphics drag. My server at home does this and I have around 320 RAM and a 20 dollar cheap VID card. About the icons turning black , have you expermented with any of the newest Det drivers for your VID card. At my office we have Win2000 Pro and on my personal computer half my icons tunred black weeks ago and they just stay like that now, but Im unable to mees with my work PC. -XPerties

  18. now your thinking right..........yah your CPU can be around that especially if its a AMD.....My Pent III has never gone over 38C full load and all 3 of my motherboards are always around 26C to 27C but i have chipset coolers on all them so that brings them down a few degrees. -XPerties
  19. Motherboard??????????? Temp?????????? Heathy?????????? Sorry but I dont think so. 45c for a motherboard is a little high in my book, but again dont listen to me, I just build them for a living and enjoy a cool computer. -XPerties
  20. Im sorry but having someone send me a PC all together makes me feel like s***. I like to get 10-12 boxes and be able to put all that together, trust me once you do it one time the feeling is rewarding and youll know your components. I try to build one at least 3-4 times a year and like to move parts around with in my computers. It all not that hard and as I have preached to several people Ive helped on the board, always ALWAYS, do research on what hardware you want. Dont take word of mouth and buy it or price. Take time. It took me almost 4-5 months to decided which route i was going the last time I built one. If anyone needs any help let me know -XPerties
