im not sure if everybody knows this trick but heres how to cut your firefox load up times down How to Make Firefox Load Faster Firefox may run quickly but it loads slowly; here's how to fix it Note: This tip is not suitable for inexperienced computer users. You can slash Firefox's slow load time by compressing the DLLs and executables. There are many choices for compression but I suggest you use UPX which is free, efficient and time proven. 1. Download UPX from http://upx.sourceforge.net/#download 2. Unzip upx.exe into your Firefox installation folder which is normally C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox. 3. Make sure Firefox is not running then shell to a command prompt in the Firefox installation directory. 4. Type in the following command in a single line and hit return: for %v in (*.exe *.dll components\*.dll plugins\*.dll) do upx "C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox\%v" 5. If on some later occasion you want to unpack the files, just type in the command above but add the decompression switch "-d" after "do upx." hope some one finds this useful me im running 25 plugins and i cut my load up time down to a pinch over 3 seconds original article http://www.techsupportalert.com/how_to_mak...efox_faster.htm

true true, i belive its not for the faint of heart but it does indeed set the enthusiasts apart from the average user, and it also lets you learn more about the ins and out of whats in your pc and its limits, im for it, it really does no harm if your cooling methods are good and you take your time with little increments

[Help] To anyone using CDswitch
Lost Soul replied to Nanaki's topic in Windows Post-Install Wizard (WPI)
ive never used your tool before but as for reading this ive always wanted to see wpi and xplode work hand in hand together id like to see the wpi design style pick and install method then the xplode install screen that has its progress bars for each program installed now that would be impressive, (yes before any one says anything, i do know xplode is now designed to pick what progs you want to instal but its layout on that part cant beat the wpi layout, but its installer for the programs is tops on that part.) i wish some one had some nice ideals on how to acomplish such a feat, i remember in the past some one once came up with a way but it was way to complicated and didnt really work that well. -
i dont know if this will help you but ive read good things about SAM Broadcaster, its supposed to be easy to use and broadcast with very profesional

How to unattendedly use RyanVM's Integrator...
Lost Soul replied to Siginet's topic in Windows XP PowerPacker
i gotcha but both methods are unattended,, would there basically be any draw backs to say, setting up the s ource with nlite by just remove some annoying things like windows messenger, tour and simple things like that, then slipstreaming the sp2 update and ryans pack, then xprizeing it, then place your usual hacked files like uxtheme and notepad 2 and so forth then at then end run your power packer with the bashrats packs.. im fairly new to your method so im learning it and i want to know more about it so i hope im not to much of a pain with my questions,, -
How to unattendedly use RyanVM's Integrator...
Lost Soul replied to Siginet's topic in Windows XP PowerPacker
couldnt you just use nlite to slim down the source and add ryans pack ? and still have the same effect ? or would that have some side effects by doing that before you ran the powerpacker ? -
