  1. @Bashrat Before i start installing with new 2nd fix a little update BEFORE: error in the RUN_ME.cmd: The second thing: Your new BTS_DPs_ROE.cmd for the is a nice solution i hope, but misses the [COMMANDS] tag on top of the cmdlines.txt! Dunno if it's necessary, but i had one.. What i really don't like is that it remove's everything what allready is provided there by me, because i let my regtweaks run from there. I suppose it's because of the error posted above?? third: Looks like there is nothing happend to my original winnt.sif file!? No winnt.old and the driversignpolicy things are still in there. Normally with method-2 they are removed? Ill fix minor things by hand now, will let you know how i went.
  2. Driver Version installed: 10.0.0.51 Silicon Image Sil 3112 SATARaid Controller PCI\VEN_1095&DEV_3112&SUBSYS_61121095&REV_02 PCI\VEN_1095&DEV_3112&SUBSYS_61121095 PCI\VEN_1095&DEV_3112&CC_010400 PCI\VEN_1095&DEV_3112&CC_0104 My problems started after you added that new Adaptec stuff: ASH1205 controller. I assume there must be more people who are getting it now.. Waiting to test, so let me know what to do!
  3. @BASHRAT No, that's not Nlite! It's BAM's handmade long time ago with the help of MSFN unattended page's. Worked very nice everytime. EDIT: How about my other question in that post?? Any idea?? Now i can't do anything with the new packs because of that.
  4. Strange, i dont have these problems of screwed up txtsetup.sif.. There are a few gaps which are simular to your's, but NOT one from like a mile and a half! Check your i386 dir, is there a dac960nt.sy_ in there? I have it in my i386! If not, you have more then 1 serious wierd problems. I must get some sleep now. good luck, will read it tomorrow. (at work around 07:00 ) EDIT: it was German you said... go figure.. perhaps thats your problem (just kidding)
  5. @midiboy: I compared your txtsetup.sif to mine, and saw that you have a HUGE gap and missing stuff from around: [sourceDisksFiles.x86] I think that best you re-create your install dir and then slipstream again the BTS drivers. @willerman: What do you mean: slipstreamed Driverpacks Before or After SP2 + Nlite? In what way did you "tweak" it? Looks like there is something wrong or corrupt with your Chipset Driverpack.. Perhaps someone else can confirm that? (or not ) For your reference to GUIRunOnce and RunOnceEx check here
  6. The v5.05 + FIX does strange things to my hardware.. I have a Silicon Image SiI 3112 SATARaid Controller on my Asus A7N8X-E Deluxe mainboard. 2x SATA 120GB in Raid 0 config. Completely partitioned, normally i only remove/re-create my C: and do the install. But now when it comes to the partitioning part of my setup it says: I have 2 disks (no Raid config anymore) on the ASH1205 controller.. And no recognised partitions. There is something going really wrong with that.. Another thing: [Data] AutoPartition=0 MsDosInitiated="0" UnattendedInstall="Yes" AutomaticUpdates=yes MSDosInitiated= "No" [Unattended] UnattendMode=FullUnattended UnattendSwitch="yes" OemSkipEula=Yes OemPreinstall=Yes TargetPath=\Windows Repartition=No WaitForReboot=No Hibernation=No OemPreinstall= "Yes" My winnt.sif says twice MSDosInitiated=, once 0 and once (space)"No" If i look at the reference guide, it should be 0 (zero) like mine's! The last OemPreinstall= "Yes" is yours, added double also, but differs from mine i had in there.. And ofcourse the remove.lst remains in the root of my BTSXPCD. Used: - SP2 + ryanvm (nlite'd) - all packs + the fix, except Wlan - Method 2, keep the drivers - RunOnceEx for the control panels. ps. i like the new naming BTS_DPs_finish.cmd, nice change you made there
  7. No it isn't there! Bit to late now i guess Well, i move on to the Basepack and see what's there to fix.

    XML sample

Well, since Wraith has pushed the installation files back in his magic box during all those dumb... whatevers, i had the time to update and find out the changes in the latest XPlode. For reference, easy programming AND to show what a nice tool it is (what some people are missing now), i make mine available here for use. Open it up with Notepad, and it's all there. I use the XplodeGFXInstall, wich means transparant. It runs from GuiRunOnce WITH logging to see if there were errors during install. The log file will end up in C:\ [GuiRunOnce] "%systemdrive%\Postinstall\XPlode\XPlode.exe /log:#Systemdrive#\XPlode.log" My xplode dir + xml sheet are on my XPCD in: $OEM$\$1\Postinstall\XPlode And a nice sample how it looks: Notice the transparancy! The XPlode folder on my destop comes right through it. That is why it it looks so very nice in my opinion, during GuiRunonce there is absolutely nothing there except XPlode doing his job! Use or look at it, either way, my thnx goes to Wraith with this!! (uhmm the image is a bit .. not so.. nevermind.) And nobody tells me i forgot to attach my XML... XPlode.xml
  9. Don't like it to be on the first post here... But you got a problem with this new one: DriverPack_MassStorage_V505\D\M\AD\9 (Adaptec Serial ATA 1205SA Host Controller) Setup failed during txt setup It's correct, i checked it and it was not packed in the DPM. Make it a fast fix/update as you can, because everyone downloading now is experiencing a time out of your site!! Because of heavy traffic
  10. Perhaps, i can throw in something to think of. -SP2 -RyanVM 1.2.1 Medium (added with Nlite) -All driverpacks except Wlan. -Method 2 + Keep the Drivers NO problem at all.. Even use DP_LAN. Just my 2 cents to not yet throw it completely on RyanVM. (or am i out of line here??)

    Hobbyist with attitude

@Angeryguy Now this is what i call a ...dunno what to call it! When you did that, had to enter a password. If you did not enter a right one, all you have are 0 byte sized file's!! Completely useless! Either way, Don't post these st#pid things.
  12. Well.. i don't mind which method you choose, as long as it's working for everyone! It doesn't matter how WE use it, it's about how do YOU want to provide it to world and make it run flawless, even if they don't have a clue what they are doing. (going to do a new install myself now, integrate it for once in my XPlode, via GuiRunOnce.) But i guess also it's about time now that you must rename it in something like: BTS_Finalize.cmd It doesn't contain just the Soundpanels anymore!
  13. @Ghostrider You are absolutely right! I can run all my cmd's very easy from XPlode. But i have no intention to manually convert everything, copy all the commands out of Bashrat's file's and then put it all together in another way of executing! There is allready so much to keep tracking and checking if it's up to date. Bashrat provide's one of the most complete things we have here, so let's get it working for all the "newbees" that have no clou of manually editing the command files. We know how it work's, Bashrat's intention is (i think) to provide a whole complete out of the box and running package. So, in my opinion Bashrat has a timing problem with his Base pack. It's the timeline were it gets executed and messed up other commands. (we all know what happend with the soundpanels...) aahh feels good sometimes, a nice discusion with a Ghost!! EDIT: forgot to ask, If you choose to keep the drivers should the %SystemRoot%\D dir not be removed when finished???
  14. @Bashrat I asked it allready once before where that command=8 stands for.. Because MS did not make any notice of it, but i'm going to try it, thnx! @all When you allready have an older Base pack and still want to update to the new v5.0.4.14 but getting the php error, use the UpdateChecker_V504**.cmd!! It will automaticly download and replace the old one.
  15. Just finished testing v5.0.4.14 As you can see i'm back online!! Worked perfect, no error's no double entry's, panel installed, all hardware is working. - sp2 + RyanVM updatepack medium. - all latest driverpacks, except Wlan. (otherwise exceeds 700MB..) - Method 2, Keep the drivers etc. etc. we know the drill by now. I'm proud at you! Well done. But, i'm very sorry, as allways there must be somthing to give you a headache!! It has nothing to do with your driverpacks, but as a result of it i'm NOT amused by the Guirunonce line.. We spoke allready over the multiple line's through GuiRunOnce and the simultanious execution of it. - [GuiRunOnce] command9= "%SystemDrive%\D\BTS_DPs_Control_Panels.cmd" "%systemdrive%\Postinstall\XPlode\XPlode.exe /log:#Systemdrive#\XPlode.log" Here is the result of that, 2 things running all together: Normally it should wait untill XPlode is finished, but now after the 1st line is done it goes on to the shell!! Even when XPlode is still running. That screws up my entire XPlode transparancy. And ofcourse the other thing allready mentioned by Ghostrider: [Data] AutoPartition=0 MsDosInitiated="0" UnattendedInstall="Yes" AutomaticUpdates=yes MSDosInitiated= "No" Twice and different MSDosInitiated!? Besides this, It looks like going as a rocket!! Very good progress, thnx!
  16. @DigeratiPrime/Atstalavista In what way do they break it up? I use nlite: (because i'm a bit lazy sometimes) -for SP2 English -for RyanVm 1.21 Medium I did not have any trouble's with it asf far i can tell. @Erik I've been looking over the MS site, but did not find any reference to it. Still i'm pretty sure GuiRunOnce is a buggie thing when it has multiple line's in there.
  17. @Bashrat Erik means that when executing line's from GUIRunOnce, they run all at once! First line will not wait for the second one.. Very strange, but i can confirm that happens very often. That is the reason in the first place why we had that problem with the panels not getting installed. They were deleted before the end of the install with the first line.
  18. You mentioned it more then once. mine say's: DriverPack_MassStorage_V5042.7z Allways did/do a checkup with the cmd tool. Perhaps an idea to integrate it into the slipstream cmd file??
  19. VMware... i still don't feel that is the way to succesfull installation. I want to hear from you what happens on your machine during "real time" install. What method did you use? mine was 2 and KtD. No succes, never before it stopped so soon. (okay, i saw that, you did a sneaky edit )
  20. I'm very sorry, i go along withcolinbate.. This is the error i get before the actual setup starts: It definitly is in the i386 dir... but can't find it?? i checked back on my XPCD i created with v5.0.4.11 and there is no file named like that. So it's a new added thing. - same as usual - All (new) driverpacks except Wlan - Method 2 - keep the drivers. No installation done, ends before partition creating. If there is a quick "possible" solution, i'm able to do a another test now. Anyone? ( edit: Bâshrat, i know you can't sleep now.. )
  21. The museum thing was about your weekend.. nevermind. I'm going try the new pack's, hope to be back online soon!
  22. i guess not a "driverpacks museum"! you would love it With or without logging, i agree, first stability, then the addon's. Hope you get the new release tonight, my xpcd is ready for slipstreaming! But after a weekend i'm a bit lost, what are the main issues still standing open from driverpack_Base ??
  23. @Bashrat, First things first. <offtopic> How was your weekend vacation? Enjoyed it, and get enough time to cool down? B) </offtopic> Okay, back to business. I saw you read THIS post of mine and Erik. about the second line in GuiRunOnce who screws up the first one. For what i understand now is that you let the commands run from your batch file in the future? to make sure they don't override eachother? I ak it because i'm pretty sure it happens more often then we think. It has happend to me in the past, and that's why i noticed it with CTpanel. As for the "special" requests.. just a thought, a spin of my mind, but would it be possible to make some kind of simple logging for the DP's?? I have no idea how it works, but perhaps it will be easy for debugging why thing's wont slipstream for some people? Or am i out of line here..
  24. So that shouldn't be the problem. FYI Bashrat is on a weekend vacation, so i'm affraid he won't answer your call I dunno eather, sorry for my part. btw, its 02:05 here, and that means its saterday also, time close my eyes
  25. @ glent Did you noticed the new warning at the beginning of the Run_me execution!? Looks nice don't you think? that warns you about empty spaces in the naming of your XP> <CD (happend by mistake to me also 1 time..) @ Laza Did you use Nlite AFTER applying the packs??
