  1. Here is a new version of RTL8125 for XP SP3. I succeed, what even not win10 manages, to let it run on pure legacy IRQs. This makes it fast as much as possible, <1ms ping to DHCP router Dietmar

  3. https://www.techspot.com/news/111434-tofu-brine-could-power-safer-batteries-last-decades.html Tofu Brine could power safer batteries that last decades, researchers say A new neutral-electrolyte battery survives more than 120,000 cycles without fire risk By Skye Jacobs Today (Feb 23, 2026) Bottom line: A mixture most people associate with tofu production could soon help make safer, longer-lasting batteries. Researchers from the City University of Hong Kong and Southern University of Science and Technology have built a water-based power cell that runs on tofu brine – the mineral-rich solution left behind after pressing soy curds. The design replaces the complex, flammable chemistry of lithium-ion batteries with an electrolyte that's as safe as saltwater. In lab tests, the prototype endured more than 120,000 charge cycles, an endurance record that far exceeds today's commercial standards. Typical electric-vehicle batteries degrade after just a few thousand cycles – even long-duration grid systems seldom survive beyond ten thousand. ...

  4. Nice experiments, you seem to be equipped for this task. Last week I did a quick reading of my Turbo Pascal/ Delphi kid's-book to grasp the structure/ syntaxis of pascal, but the HDA-controller parts of HDA.PAS are far out of my reach however (and no Problem-to-Solve). In the past I once did a full reading of Intel's High Definition Audio Specification, but later I limited myself to the Verb-parts. A few months ago I had to learn and compile nasm, with help of mrexodia I got acess to pi (from pi.ai) in Ubuntu on Virtual Box. Although I think it is not a good idea to try to let AI do the job, AI can be quite helpful for teaching and analysis. I asked pi to write a compliance report of HDA.PAS. No problems found on the Verb-level, but lot's controller related. Maybe you can use it, only about ten pages. HDA_Compliance_Report_HDA.PAS_[pi].rtf

  5. I shan't, can't give the links publicly without the violating of the forum rules because Russian forums contain cracked Western software, nevertheless, I can share with our dear admins via the messages. In the meantime, what do you suggest, ecaxtly? Probaly could make your own investigation?

  6. I found it out by accident, we have Supermium user(s) with identical names on MSFN and other forum(s) . Their names came out from the search relating to Supermium, resulting in the finding of another forum. They made a research. I used translation, and I was horrified! Luckily, I didn't put my paswords there! Unsurprisingly, Russian forums contain cracked Western software, so I shan't, can't give the links publicly, nevertheless, I can share with our dear admins via the messages. That said, to be completely fair, I don't know how well the Russians can be trusted. Probaly Dave could make his own research?

  7. ASAP. Not advised for banking and important stuff. It would be fatal since even the "Ungoogled" Supermium broadcasts, transmits the passwords to third parties. Tell later.

  8. By that time they will bump up the minimum version, you'll wait in vain. Supermium lags behind for at least several versions.

  9. Rigged? It's not election. Explain how it's "rigged" and why all those thousands of people create those views! Just for the sake of what? Especially if we assume D.Draker could care less, he's not currently present. And I agree with Monroe.

  10. Describe extensively what you have done so far! Normally if all instructions of both posts have been performed properly, you shouldn't have any error codes. Therefore you missed a step. Check all steps again! PS: @WULover refers to these four updates: KB4467770, KB4019276, KB4493435, KB94228-V3. Install them again!

  13. Due to the fact that some of you had problems when running ProxHTTPSProxy or HTTPSProxy in older systems I have examined the correlation of crashes with the SSE2 capability of a CPU. The current results can be found in sections Prerequisites and Versions of this post: @maile3241 I have mentioned your findings relating to getting access to MU in Windows XP Professional x64 and linked your post.

  14. Of course, I have. Forget about Windows 2000! As you already wrote in a post above: And you are absolutely right. But for all not reasonable people there is an antivirus tool which works with Windows 2000 too, called ClamWin. Here is a link: https://clamwin.com/ PS: By the way I don't think you have an infection in your system.
