  3. I managed to boot the WinXP SP2 32-bit from the GPT under UEFI DUET32 on real machine:

  4. Tried mypal. Review: Seems quite nice. But it's sort of like those Linux setups where it's all perfect until you try to do anything. Issues encountered: Couldn't find good extensions. All I wanted was an adblock/element blocker and a useragent. I tried to figure it out and just wasted time. The browser can't handle memory. As they say, the browser is capped at 1.5GB per process. Uhm, that's not an issue any other browser has, including 360EE. The crashing. Maybe they are also capped at 1.5GB per process. I don't care. They unload it or use virtual memory, whatever they do, you can scroll down a page a bit without a crash. Some pages you can only get to the old stuff by scrolling (trash design, but here we are). So it's a, uh, not a work browser. There was this annoying issue where there was a flashing cursor on the left side of things, including full screen video playback. I reported it. There was also a thing where YouTube's caption text was really pixellated. I read that there were issues with fonts for some reason. Anyway, all in all, it's something - I tested out 360EE and it's basically unusable now. I don't know why. Pages just aren't loading - even google.com. Maybe some kind of useragent filtering? What happened to the days when every damn page would load no matter how broken it was, and security was your business?

  5. Platform Updates are not required for DirectX 11, you confuse with new Firefox versions video playback, for DirectX 11 you only need Windows 6.0 KB2117917. Chrome users don't need Platform Updates, especially.

  6. My mom's a criminal defence attorney. In court, you need to provide exact details, but you explicitly denied to do that, without the knowing your version we have nothing more to investigate, the court denies your application. Added. As for Kaspersky in general, there was an investigation here already, also by "ancient" and respected members, in this topic, about the fact it changes main Windows system files, scroll back,

  7. We'd need to see some actual evidence, statistics from independent sources, fact checked researches. Until then, it's just a guess. I've never even heard of this programme before, in Belgium we don't use it, and the first time I read about it was here, but no proof of its alleged "quality" was ever provided..

  8. Disregard! That was short-lived! Videos are consistently stopping about three and half minutes in then the infamous swirling circle indicating buffering rears its ugly head! One to two hours! You've never been satisfied with anything for so long. I think that's a new record. Install the TURBOLAUNCHER 2.1.0.0 script (a launcher script for VORAPIS) instead of the Project VORAPIS 0.9.0.0 script itself! Works fine in New Moon 28 on my old machine. No interruptions of the stream, and no swirling circle here.

  9. You are running the New Moon 28 SSE release. I assume your CPU does not have the SSE2 instruction set and is a very old one like mine although my Pentium 4 CPU is equipped with the SSE2 instruction set. The website https://www.auf1.tv can be accessed with New Moon 28 (palemoon-28.10.7a1.win32-git-20250222-d849524bd-uxp-e43876ec84-xpmod.7z) but on old, weak computers, it's more of a pain than a pleasure. You should avoid this website, at least on old devices. The page is overloaded with media, loads terribly slowly and uses around 200 MB of RAM. The CPU load is high due to all animations and transitions. I can block them via CSS, and the CPU load immediately becomes normal. But then the news ticker is no longer running, of course. I think such websites should be accessed on modern devices, and the reason for your issue is most probably the lack of the SSE2 instruction set in your CPU which might be necessary to correctly load this website.

  11. Interestingly, your French Amazon site runs better in New Moon 28 than in Mypal 68, i.e. switching between the different models works, albeit rather sluggishly, at least on my old computer.

  13. Ever heard of a typo? Happens even to the best. If you had read my posts carefully, you would have noticed that I had written it correctly in the post before: The part to which you refer came in the next post: If you're not interested in the content of my posts, and you're just looking for spelling mistakes, have fun with it! You will certainly find one or two more.

  14. I'm glad to hear that. For me, the PMT - Process Mode Toggler is ideal for testing and comparing different things in both process modes with only two clicks in the same profile. At the moment, I have reverted to the last officially compatible version 1.46. But I will test the 1.56 version again. Thanks for the hint!

  15. Mypal 68.14.6b - GIF image animation broken in single-process mode @feodor2 Purely by chance, I have discovered that the animation of GIF images in Mypal 68.14.6b does not work when the browser is operated in single-process mode. Of course, the preference image.animation_mode is set to the value normal. When switching to multi-process mode, however, the animation of GIF files works again. So this seems to be an issue that only affects the single-process mode. Look at my Matrix GIF image below! I should still mention that this issue didn't occur in your previous releases. Cheers, AstroSkipper
