  1. Do you work at NASA, FBI, NSA, CIA? then I see no reason to hold off your screenbcaps, the one you just showed, is from a very old hardware, not to mention very cheap initially. As for Supermium, it's not its fault, your card doesn't support most codecs surrounding us since 2012 anyways. H264 developed a quarter of century ago would be the maximum, but it's not widely used these days.

  2. Thanks! 12 is what your OS has, the one in the brackets is what your hardware can theoretically do. But as I suspected, the card is an odd, cheap OEM, the name is odd, probably Chrome simply doesn't know what to do with it! And then again, it's very, very old.

  3. It's not true, your processor is at least 12 years old. https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/products/sku/75122/intel-core-i74770-processor-8m-cache-up-to-3-90-ghz/specifications.html

  4. D.Draker writes this browser is good, what do you do? Right! You follow D.Draker like a magnet. D.Draker is kind, fair and forgiving. I forgive you, no report will follow your utterly rude post. You follow my every step, and I understand you very well, I'm an interesting man. I've been told many times, I'm a natural born leader, people listen and follow D.Draker, so stop fighting your temptations and accept the fate.

  5. Your VRAM is faster than the one @NotHereToPlayGames has, so thanks for the confirmation. Your VRAM is faster by 5.3GB/s, also its size is 30 percent bigger. Your GPU clock is faster by 35 percent. No wonder Supermium runs OK.

  6. Recently, there was an almost unique case - you asked a legit, on topic question about streaming on Supermium, I answered why it's not possible, and even if Supermium buys a 10K digital key, your hardware will never get through, I also explained why - very politely, if you're insulted with the fact of having such a hardware, it's not my problem. And I honestly can't comprehend why it gets you so deep. I run a 10 years old Videocard with the initial price of 1200Euro, I feel no shame in it. I don't upgrade because newer don't have Vista drivers. What are your reasons to stay on such oldies, we don't know - Win10 has all the drivers. BTW, be careful with curses, you never know whom you wished them to. I'm a Black magic practitioner, I do séances, read books on the occult, etc.

  7. This gets OLD OLD OLD OLD OLD OLD OLD OLD. I have no idea what a Dell 2407 is and what the "F-ing" obsession is with "you and your followers" always using this "phrase". At any rate, I DO NOT CARE, I am not a "gamer" and do not need brand new computers ever six months just to watch blood splattering in 4K super-hi-def !!! !!! !!! I do not need a new mobile phone every six months. I do not need a new LED/Plasma/OLED/Whatever monitor every six months. I do not need a new house every six months. etc etc etc Supermium is still being targeted for folks like me, for hardware that isn't brand new every six months, or even every 10 years. Until Supermium developer sends out a "F U all of you XP/Vista/7/10 users, we no longer support anything below Win11 and we no longer support anything older than SIX MONTHS", then, well, "curse you" and your "crew" that wants to belittle my 12yr old computer. "Curse You" "Curse You" "Curse You"... GETTING OLD! ENOUGH WITH THE D#MN RIB-JABS!!! GOT IT?

  8. I'm no longer surprised why you had terrible stuck-ups with the modern Supermium, whereas other members didn't! GPU with DDR3 is 2003 tech, I had a GPU with DDR3 in 200 or so, over 20 years ago. Your computer OEM simply used very cheap VRAM. At that time, GPU already had GDDR5.

  9. Oh, and that alleged Dell 2407, or the "newest" of yours (less than 12 years old) display will never get through with the streaming on Supermium because it lacks HDCP 2.2.

  10. It's still very old. Let's see, 11th of January, 2017 is over 8 years old, not to mention it's a Quadro card. And you were going to stream on Supermium with your cards!?! You'd be outright blocked on Netflix. lol The driver support was dropped in 2019, 6 years ago, it's hopeless. Here's an old article, and even then they already demanded GTX 1050 (which still gets the drivers, unlike all of yours). GTX 1050 4GB is only for the poorest members of our society. https://www.ncesc.com/gaming-pedia/what-gpu-does-netflix-use/

  11. Please be calm, we all are friends here, Don't you read what I write? DXDIAG shows only what OS is capable of, NOT your hardware. For your hardware, you need to take a sccreencap from GPUZ. (Videocard)

  12. For those two parameters, the test is to copy your browser profile to a USB Memory Stick or a shared network folder and then copy that profile to another computer then launch the browser in that other computer. If your extensions are still there, then these two parameters did their job. If the other computer starts with an empty profile, then these parameters did not do their job. If you are not migrating a profile from one computer to another, then you do not need these two parameters to begin with, these flags are for portability and migrating between computers.

  14. Not sure what it is. Chrome Post War Apocalypse Launcher, maybe? Search for it, they say it could be Chrome's malware/spyware/virus. Clam Win found a virus there. Source: https://www.reddit.com/r/chrome/comments/168wkt2/antivirus_scanner_found_virus_in_chrome/

  15. I did a bit of digging, and it seems this one is Chrome's spyware - collecting statistics on what media you "engage" with. Looks like studies "...from a user's individual browsing behaviour..." https://www.chromium.org/audio-video/autoplay/autoplay-pre-seeding-in-chrome/

  16. You are absolutely right. If any security patches can be applied by @feodor2, then this should be done in any case. Of course, one should also be aware that activating user scripts or using certain hacks has unfortunately a negative impact on the security of Mypal 68. I, for example, use both. But I also know what I'm doing.

  17. On GitHub, I found a nice Batch Script for downloading Audio and Video using yt-dlp or youtube-dl and ffmpeg. It is called ytBATCH. I have already configured it to my needs, and it works great under Windows XP. Whatever yt-dlp option is needed can be easily added to a config file. All preferences which have been set inside ytBatch are stored in config files. Once, all has been adjusted, you only need to insert the YT-link and to select V for Video or A for Audio. Then the file will be immediately downloaded. I use the script with @nicolaasjan's yt-dlp/youtube-dl releases and @Reino's last ffmpeg release. Now, my downloaded video and audio files also contain a thumbnail and metadata.

  18. Hello, @cmalex! How are you? I hope in any case you are well and, above all, healthy and unharmed in these still difficult times. As you know, you compiled the great programme ProxyMII, dated from 2022-07-17, based on OpenSSL 3.0.5, dated from 2022-07-05, and Cryptography 3.4.8, dated from 2021-08-24. That was a year ago. OpenSSL is now available in version 3.1.2 and Cryptography in version 41.0.3, both dated from 2023-08-01. In terms of Cryptography, there was a big version bump after 3.4.8 directly to 35.0.0. Link: https://github.com/pyca/cryptography/tags?after=37.0.0 Do you know if these versions are still compatible with Windows XP? If not, which are the last XP-compatible versions? Would it make sense to update ProxyMII in terms of OpenSSL and Cryptography for the use under Windows XP, especially to support more modern ciphers? TBH, who else could assess this better than you, the creator of ProxyMII? Or, have you perhaps already updated ProxyMII? Anyway! What do you think about all that? Greetings from Germany, AstroSkipper

  19. Thank you very much for your explanation! Looking at other forks of extensions, I never saw a detailed record (in the form of a patch/diff file) of the modifications the "forker" applied on the original source code inside those xpi files. I only noticed a statement like "forked from the extension ... created by ..." or similar. BTW, I decided to choose a new name.

  20. It happens rarely, but today, I also have a question. It's about forking extensions. What do I have to consider if I want to fork an old, abandoned XUL extension under the MPL-2.0 licence? I already asked this question in my thread Extensions and custom buttons for UXP browsers - Corrections, modifications, adjustments, and special recommendations, but I think here in @roytam1's browser thread, the probability of getting an answer is higher, since software developers, programmers or code-experienced members are more likely to be found here. Any hints or explanations are welcome. Thanks in advance!

  21. DreamMail Pro - Update information! DreamMail Pro has been updated again and is now available in version 6.6.6.11. It is still XP-compatible, and the development is ongoing! I have not been able to find a version history on their homepage. Therefore, I generated an official version history translated to English and provide it here: And here is the download link of DreamMail Pro 6.6.6.11: https://dl.cy-email.com/dm6/Download/dmpro_setup6.6.6.11.exe To force the updated installer of DreamMail Pro 6.6.6.11 to use English instead of Chinese as the installer language, I updated again my small loader that does this when it calls up the setup program. It must be executed in the same directory in which the setup file is located with its original file name dmpro_setup6.6.6.11.exe. Here is the download link of my loader Force_En_Install_DM_Pro_66611.exe: https://www.mediafire.com/file/lvg9qtaqt6voii4/Force_En_Install_DM_Pro_66611.7z/file Although some virus scanners detect this file as malicious, it is just a false-positive as always. Use my loader to force an English install, only if you trust me, of course! Cheers, AstroSkipper

  22. Hello @WSC4! Of course, you have to make your own experiences. I would recommend starting with New Moon 28, based on Pale Moon, and Serpent 52, based on Basilisk. That's what I am using under Windows XP mainly. BTW, you can easily open a session with 20 tabs or more, but it is not a good idea to open them all at once. I use the extension Lull The Tabs to keep them in an unloaded state until I need one of them. Doing so, New Moon and Serpent consume much less resources. Greetings, AstroSkipper

  23. Thanks for this information! However, I rename files using the multi-rename tool of Total Commander. This file manager can do much more than that, of course.
