  3. It depends on used storage controller driver. It's a setting to atapi.sys, part of the default IDE driver stack. USBstor.sys is another case. A default Win 2000 SP4 access first 128 GiB at atapi.sys only. Yes the parition size, in addition the location does matter too. https://web.archive.org/web/20100128222202/http://support.microsoft.com/kb/305098

  5. You just need to replace both dwmcore.dll and uDWM.dll in the C:\Windows\System32 folder with the previous version from the windows update that did work with Aero Glass. Recommend doing a backup before doing this in case causes issues.

  7. So, this just disables Javascript and OpenType support and calls that a fix? I have a better one: pull out all LAN cables and all WiFi & WWAN adapters out of the PC - there, instant fix for almost all vulnerabilities

  8. A bit late, but I believe Blackhawk Browser still supports Vista. A few months back, I recall testing the web browser on both a Vista and XP installation. It only worked on the Vista installation. I believe it's based off Roytam's goanna engine too. https://www.netgate.sk/content/view/19/43/
