April 8, 200719 yr NO you cannot have a link to download it... That would be illegal. As for installing a Vista lite edition on that pc yeah it can be done but I wouldn't wanna do it. Even trimmed down as far as you could it wouldn't run all that well.

April 8, 200719 yr This is going to be the third person to say no. Downloading licenced software is illegal. If you really want to give it a try, then buy it yourself. And like Kel already said - Vista wouldn't run well on that computer - regardless of the motherboard or P4 processor that you upgraded to. Simply - no. I've got a similar system that I tried installing Vista Business on - good lord... horrible horrible experience.
April 8, 200719 yr I've got to add to the post - the very first rule in the forum rules clearly states this:1. This is not a warez site! Links/Requests to warez and/or illegal material (porn, cracks, serials, etc..) will not be tolerated. Discussion of circumventing WGA/activation/timebombs/keygens or any other illegal activity will also not be tolerated. You will be banned without notice. If you're asking to download a Vista install, you clearly do not own one, and thus you downloading and using Vista would be illegal in almost all countries in the world. Please do not ask again, or you will be banned without any further notice. Thank you.
April 10, 200719 yr Based on your video, Security Center does not do the popups when installing things. That is UAC(User Account Control) found under msconfig/tools. Thought i would let you know. Edited April 10, 200719 yr by Avien
April 11, 200719 yr if one had to try vista, they should go to a local computer store [like compUSA or whatever] and take a look at their display computers that run vista...i played games on it for over an hour and they didn't care, and since i didn't care to have vista, no troubles at all.if you really wanted to have vista, you should have gotten beta versions when they were out.i don't see the fuss in vista, but i do like the accomplishment of such a small ISO.
July 9, 200719 yr Ur INI File states:Target = Windows Vista HOMEBASIC 32bit 6.0.6000.16386so i assume you are still not posting the correct one..then thisis by no means Ultimate
July 27, 200719 yr Author Sorry for the late reply ..no this is the Home Vista Ini file ..because i wanted it to run as lite as possible. This Home version is tested on a pentium 3 with 370mb ram..install only takes like 2500mb so you can also install it on a small harddrive if you are really out of hardwareBest regards! August 20, 200719 yr thats good that you accomplished installing Vista..but I'm sure you've striped it so bare that you will soon find some 'components' you wished you had....just because someone managed to squeeze a Porsche engine into the frame of a volkswagon..doesn't necessarily mean you've got a 'Porsche' now....lol
