Graphic Card prob?

heya Guyz me again i got a problem i just got a New motherboard and proccesor it works fine but i got a Hercules 32mb graphics card and when i play games like quake 3 area or RTCW there loads of pink sqaures and shapes all ova da place is dat my graphics card or sumthing to do wiv my nu processor

My Specs:\

AMD 1100 Athlon

384mb RAM

3D prophet 4000xt Pci Graphics card

20gig Hard drive

I guess the card is not just powerful or recent enough for your game. I mean, perhaps the game ask for stuff that the card doesn't have...

You might change your card or play minesweeper.

well i'd try getting the latest updates for both games and video card.. still the same, look at ur device manager and check if IRQ's to video card etc arent conflicting or test in another machine.

I think the 4000xt is kyro or kyro2 based card isnt it?? have u tried updating the drivers for it or maybe trying to get generic drivers from the kyro chip manufacturer. i have had the 4000xt and 4500xt and had no problems but i always used the latest drivers, they run generic drivers really well heres a link if it helps http://www.powervr.com/Downloads.asp hope this sorts the prob

Tried them all Nothing happend i think its got summta to do wiv the OpenGL or my Nu processor :S

works fine for 2d?

try blowing a good sized fan at it while gaming, just to see if its a heat issue.
