You are getting these errors becuse you are trying to install it on an already inplace machine where you have previously installed Adobe Reader 8. The installers I distribute are meant for unattended installations.

Try the installation on a clean machine (VMware etc.) and see if you still get the error.

maybe you are right, I'm trying to install it on a machine with 8 lite english installed :)

I'll perform some tests and post results

Annita, Thank you very much for testing this product (several times) and keeping me informed so that i could produce a fully working version. Your time is truly appreciated. Once again, Thanks. :thumbup

Thnx to you, Shark007. You spend your time in this forum and you need some help, specially with other languages than English.

Spanish version:

The file does not open in Firefox browser and it freezes it. If you download the file and then open it, it works fine...

I suggest you test this in a virtual machine such as VMware. It will install OK but the issue you may face is uninstalling. I havent had the time to test svcpack scenario's with v8 but with v7.08 it could not be uninstalled properly when installed via svcpack. I have posted a warning that these installers are NOT svcpack compatible. Using any method after 1st boot like runonceex for example, doesnt have the uninstall issues.

Shark007 what do you know about the browser problem opening PDF files??? Have you figured out how to solve it???

Thnx,

Annita

Cheers shark, will test it over the weekend and give you a heads up, again many thanks for your time in replying and for the hard work making our work easier.

Take it easy and have a good one...
