Shark007 Posted July 3, 2008 Author Posted July 3, 2008 (edited) Which build did you use? The standard http download listed at 34mb?you're welcome. The file I used as a basis for creating the English Lite version was originally named AdbeRdr90_en_US_Std.exeit was 25.1MB and had an MD5 of e714ec99dad64310176a5278189f8dc0NOTE: I use FTP for file transfers whenever possible because dialup sucks and FTP often resumes shark Edited July 3, 2008 by Shark007

I think it doesn't include AIR files or Acrobat.com support, which is great for Lite versions. However, i can confirm this because i don't ever install the full versions.Hopefully, Adobe will release Spanish version soon. I use the spanish versions on many computers except my own. Thanks again. Regards.

But for future lite versions you may pls consider including the FormFilling option too.thanksGopal.

creopard Posted July 8, 2008 Posted July 8, 2008 Thanks for the Lite-Versions.Maybe it's a good idea for some to delete the "AcroRd32Info.exe"-file after installation, as it remains worthless in the RAM (consuming 21MB) after closing AdobeReader.(see also: http://blog.kakkoi.net/windows/how-to-safe...-adobe-reader/)
radix Posted July 9, 2008 Posted July 9, 2008 Thanks for the Lite-Versions.Maybe it's a good idea for some to delete the "AcroRd32Info.exe"-file after installation, as it remains worthless in the RAM (consuming 21MB) after closing AdobeReader.(see also: http://blog.kakkoi.net/windows/how-to-safe...-adobe-reader/)That method described here doesn't work. The file must be deleted or renamed. Or use a msi editor to disable the service.
Mad_Griffith Posted July 10, 2008 Posted July 10, 2008 Does anyone know when other languages of the standard Adobe Reader will be available? I'm waiting for the italian version to come out...
Keynan Posted July 10, 2008 Posted July 10, 2008 Tried English AR 9.0 Lite... Works like a charm! (Except that searching for updates doesn't work at all! )Any chance for Hebrew AR 8.1.2 Lite, though?
Shark007 Posted July 10, 2008 Author Posted July 10, 2008 Any chance for Hebrew AR 8.1.2 Lite, though? My gut instinct wants to tell you to wait for a 9.0 release, but . . . i know adobe, obscure launguage support is often on the back burner.working on 8.1.2 Hebrew ... available soon.shark
