ok aaron.. ill take your advice on that... tell me... what would my winnt.sif need to look like if all i wanted to see durring the setup was the part where u typed in your NAME and ORG... and I want the Screen durring the first boot where u set the user accounts and such to also still be displayed...

and.. ofcourse.... i want to be able to have what i have listed under the components section to work

for refference... on my previous post.. a few posts back u can see my winnt.sif

Make a seperate thread, because this thread is for hotfixes.

Use UnattendMode=DefaultHide and remove the Name, and Organisation entries in winnt.sif. I haven't tested if [Components] work with DefaultHide.

Change Unattendswitch to no to see the Welcome to Windows XP screens on first boot.

Turns out this patch is specific to HP (or at least the one i obtained is) and does not allow a silent install.

Have decided to go down another avenue.

I may not have said it before but you, and this forum, have been a big help.

I surpose that the 10 and the 6 updates is what I need to have a complete updatet win XP?
