jcarle Posted November 24, 2006 Posted November 24, 2006 Whichever one you get, make sure you get it from a company that can offer a no dead pixel return policy.
ripken204 Posted November 24, 2006 Posted November 24, 2006 Whichever one you get, make sure you get it from a company that can offer a no dead pixel return policy.do any companies even offer that?
jcarle Posted November 24, 2006 Posted November 24, 2006 Whichever one you get, make sure you get it from a company that can offer a no dead pixel return policy.do any companies even offer that?Sure, even my local computer store here, MicroBytes offers that. Albeit for a $25 fee, but what's $25 to return a dead pixel monitor compared to it's full price? In fact, even some manufacturers offer no-dead pixel policies. I *think* NEC does.
puntoMX Posted November 24, 2006 Posted November 24, 2006 I saw that in the USA and Canada it’s normal to pay for warranty in stores. S*x As* to me, you would wish you lived in Europe then .Any way, take a look at Viewsonic as well, has been one of the best together with Samsung the last year or so. I use BENQ screens and they are good too. I don’t know what NEC is making but it looks like an ACER to me, and those are known for less quality.
jcarle Posted November 24, 2006 Posted November 24, 2006 To the best of my knowledge, NEC has only ever outsourced to Sony.
nitroshift Posted November 24, 2006 Posted November 24, 2006 do any companies even offer that?Philips does.
