Major Posted May 5, 2008 Posted May 5, 2008 (edited) Hi, Can we still use the integrator for slipstream WMP11 in windows XP SP3 or we must wait for an update release of the integrator? Thanks very much Edited May 5, 2008 by Major
jcarle Posted May 20, 2008 Posted May 20, 2008 The Windows Media Player 11 Integrator at the moment is untested with SP3, if someone can confirm, I'd love to hear it.
aittersu Posted May 20, 2008 Posted May 20, 2008 I integrated SP3 to my XP i386 source, and now also added WMP11 using the WMP 11 integrator, but I receive two errors:Setup cannot copy the file wmdrmsdk.dllAnd after that another error: mfplat.dllIs this related to SP3?Does someone have a solution for this?I use winnt.exe to start the setup from a DOS boot environment.

mrquincy Posted May 1, 2009 Posted May 1, 2009 (edited) I call upon this thread to rise from the dead!!!I'm having issues with my WMP11 integrator that has not been addressed anywhere else in the forum that I've seen:I first had the issue where I get the wdrm...dll error...fixed it...then I had the mfplat not found error. I followed these steps to resolve:1) Cab the 2 files wmdrmsdk.dll, mfplat.dll with makecab and throw them in the i386 folder2) In DOSNET.INF in the [Files] section add the 2 lines...QUOTE[Files]d1,wmdrmsdk.dlld1,mfplat.dll3) In TXTSETUP.SIF in the [sourceDisksFiles] section add the 2 lines...QUOTE[sourceDisksFiles]wmdrmsdk.dll = 100,,,,,,,2,0,0mfplat.dll = 100,,,,,,,2,0,0Now I'm getting this error:unregmp2.exe - entry point not foundThe procedure entry point MFPlatformStartup could not be located in the dynamic link library MFPlat.DLLNoteworthy: I downloaded mfplat.dll from dll-files.com Edited May 1, 2009 by mrquincy
Lost In Canada Posted November 13, 2009 Posted November 13, 2009 Hi,I'd also like to see this thread rise from the dead please!I prefere to do my integration/patches manually and not rely on something like nLite.Earlier in this thread a lot was mentioned about integrating the 5 or 6 exe's found within the WMP11 Package. I read about re-compression problems that seem to be solved with a newer version of the WMP integrator.Could I bother you for the switches used on the files used and the order? Also, I'm not sure about going back and changing any folders after running an integration?Sounds like your talking about folders for a network install location?I just want to integrate into my source and burn to disk.My project is simple, integrate everything I can and then make 1 or 2 packages to be run after the install is complete.Any help?Jason
