Haven't installed yet looking over Ie6upd.inf:

54.0.0.0 should be ;54.0.0.0

I think

Thanks. I just had a quick look, and I can't see any other errors in the .inf.

I forgot to post this earlier, but there is a known issue:

Any file being copied to within the "Program Files" Directory will fail to copy. Cause is still unknown, but if anyone can help, that would be greatly appreciated.

I am not extremely versed in inf files but I think

"%24%\progra~1\common~1\system"

Should be "%24%\%PROGRAMF%\%COMMONF%\system"

Thanks for the heads up. I'll look into it and get back with the results.

Maybe this helps:

I looked at that option, but it looked EXTREMELY complex.

Also, could anyone test mlang.dll version 6.0.2800.1599 from KB886677? I just want to make sure it works on 98/ME before I include it into the next release.

I have tried MLANG.DLL 6.0.2800.1599 from Q886677 with Win98SE + IE 6.0 SP1.

Seems to work ok so far.

All I did is copy this file to %windir%\system and then regsvr32 it.

I've also created an iexpress installer for it:
