thanks, the_guy. Shockwave Player 10.1.4.020, however, was posted in early October as I remember I downloaded it back then

pay close attention, MDGx, to the links the_guy posted. URL begins with "fpdownload.macromedia.com" and not "download.macromedia.com" (except for swflash.cab which is located at download.macromedia.com site)

Turns out that the links to the IE flash downloads are 9.0.16.0. The firefox download is 9.0.28.0, however.
