Drewdatrip Posted August 4, 2003 Posted August 4, 2003 What version of windows are you running?I searched for this file on my Win98 rig at work, and all it found was a script word pad file, no exe....|Drew|
[PseudoKiller] Posted August 4, 2003 Posted August 4, 2003 Waht program were you starting when the error appeared??
Unwonted Posted August 5, 2003 Posted August 5, 2003 You've got Windows 98? I think you can edit the system file "win.ini" with notepad and just erase whatever line has "script.exe". It could also be that one of the programs that starts up with your computer is looking for script.exe.
rik Posted August 5, 2003 Posted August 5, 2003 Run MSCONFIG and uncheck all startup apps. This way you can eliminate those as possibly causing this.
Carmon Posted August 6, 2003 Author Posted August 6, 2003 its got sumthing to do wiv Visual Basics cuz i got the problem when i unstalled it but i dont have the CD no more wat shall i dooo lol
DaveXP Posted August 6, 2003 Posted August 6, 2003 Do a search for the file script.exe on your hard drive when you find it delete it restart your computer and that should fix it.
