When i use the net, and browse for a few minutes, sometimes, suddenly, IE6 decides to go to a site called "InovaOne Studios". If i then open FireFox or Opera it does the same. If i restart the PC, and re-connect to the net, everything seems fine. However, this situation is temporary. I can sometimes browse for hours with no problems, or just 10 minutes and pick up this problem. I'm running Mcafee Enterprise 8.0i AV with the latest definitions. Also, i have the lastest updates for XP as well as the latest updates for Windows Defender. Various scans have revealed nothing, so......

Any help is appreciated.

ran complete scans, again, with Windows Defender, Mcafee AV and AD-Aware. Found nothing. IE and firefox still goes to InovaOne Studios every now and then. I will try to re-install windows in the next few days. Aaaaaaarrrrrrrggghhhhhh!!!!!!!!!!

Just downloaded and installed Spyware Doctor. It found 107 infections!!! So much for Windows Defender!! It can't even Defend my a**, nevermind Windows!!!!Hopefully, everything should be back to normal. Thanks again.

Problem is, Spyware Doctor returns countless false positives. I had a harmless shortcut to a folder I always use on my desktop and Spyware Doctor said it was a keylogging trojan.

This it's a issue more often found when you or your ISP are using a proxy!

I DON'T trust "Spyware Doctor " many... many..... many.... false positives  better try a firewall like Outpost (Spayware included!) to see what's going on! B)

Yes, just because it reports more infections than another, doesn't mean it is better than others. You really have to take your time and analyze each detected "infection" and make sure it is one and not a false positive.

Also for future reference, refer to some of my previous posts:

Don't worry about the keyword at the end, they're just search results, not focused entirely on routers. Internet Security in general.
