I Downloaded Winamp AudioPlayer - version 5.3 NO WINAMP LIBRARY 3 times from 2 different IPs. No changes - old MD5 :(

strange, i just downloaded it and it has the correct MD5.

If your MD5 matches the MD5 posted on my repository, you have the new file.

another way to check is the contained files.

If alac.w5s exists in the system folder within the archive, you have the new upload.

Although winamp has not officially updated their installer, they have released UPDATED files.

These updates are incorporated into my packages. As usual, visit my repository for the new files.

i use this switchless installer since today but have one problem with the m3u playlist ^^

i have to add the following into the registry that its working and play the playlist in winamp. if not its trying to expand the file (a reg entrie which i made to expand the compressed xp-setup files (.dl_ and .ex_ and so on)

could you add this into the next release?

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Classes\Directory\shell\Winamp.Play]
@="&Play in Winamp"

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Classes\Directory\shell\Winamp.Play\command]
@="\"C:\\Proggys\\Winamp\\winamp.exe\" \"%1\""

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Classes\Winamp.File\shell\Play\command]
@="\"C:\\Proggys\\Winamp\\winamp.exe\" \"%1\""

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Classes\Winamp.PlayList\shell\Play]
@="&Play in Winamp"

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Classes\Winamp.PlayList\shell\Play\command]
@="\"C:\\Proggys\\Winamp\\winamp.exe\" \"%1\""

[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Classes\Winamp.File\shell\open]
@=""

[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Classes\Winamp.File\shell\Play]
@="&Play in Winamp"

[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Classes\Winamp.PlayList\shell\open]
@=""

[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Classes\Winamp.SkinZip\shell\install]
@=""

i dont know if all are needed but with them its working

Awesome, it's working for me too now.. wasn't sure it was a problem with your installer or I would've reported it before (though I didn't know of the fix for it, thanks Sereby!)

Great installer, thanks for the hard work!

I love this silent installed audio player, however WMA does not work due to the missing WMA plugin. I did a quick search on Google and discovered that you need to put in the WMA plugin and install the WMA codec.

DJ Egg's post explains it all (Scroll down to see).

I pieced together from an old Winamp 5.02 in_wm.dll (into the Plugins folder) and installed the older WMA codecs and my WMA's work fine.

Just a heads up to those who listen to WMAs.
