Make sure that the heatsink is seated properly and that the processor fan is working and working properly. Otherwise, it's probably because you're required to get more case fans. nmX.Memnoch Posted February 11, 2006 Posted February 11, 2006 Also make sure the fan on your heatsink isn't clogged with dust.

Jeremy Posted February 12, 2006 Posted February 12, 2006 If you want stability, don't overclock, it's as simple as that.
trickytwista Posted February 12, 2006 Posted February 12, 2006 (edited) ya it does sound like an overheating issue, also check that in the bios that the pc is not set to shutdown if cpu is quite hot (check temperature and what its set at) and like someone else said above : check that the fan is seated correctly as this would cause same issue...... you prob could also see what cpu temp is at etc in bios too Edited February 12, 2006 by trickytwista
LLXX Posted February 12, 2006 Posted February 12, 2006 (edited) What temperatures are you experiencing? Use a temperature monitor to find out.I also agree it's a thermal problem. Edited February 12, 2006 by LLXX
