Ur partition(s) may hav been corrupted by a virus, I had the same prob with my machine recently and fixed it by repartitioning. Try repartitioning ur drive

If that does not solve the problem give us more information. Specificaly, PC Specs, Did you do a clean installation or an overwrite?

Aye, re-partiting them would be your best idea... Then re-install etc...

If you do something for a first time like in stall a OS and stuff don't work, always re-do as sometimes files can get lost.

looks like when one proble is solved another one starts,

i had some ram lying so i decided to stick it in, once i booted into windows, after about 10 min. it restarted by itself.

it kept doing this so i switched the stick of ram for another one, and it restarted again after a while.

i took it out and left in the ram i had in the begining and everythign is fine.

does this mean both sticks of ram are bad? or that my last ram slot is bad?
