seapagan Posted December 18, 2005 Posted December 18, 2005 From what I understand from reading this on other forums, yes, the patch enables you to connect using the leaked v8 beta, but most of the NEW V8 functionality is still disabled unless your passport account is flagged for v8 access.So, all you are getting with this patch is the new skin - and basically the functionality of a buggy beta-version of 7.5. Why bother? Sometimes it's better to wait than blindly install leaked & patched eye-candy ...SP
