Hey I was wondering when pentium 5 will arrive now it has been a long time since p4 came out so what about p5 now??

if youve been waiting for a "new pentium" you should look at the current LGA775 offerings, theyre fairly different from the original P4.

intel wont be releasing anything new anytime soon i dont think, theyve been shamed by AMD chips and thats why theyve gone back to the drawing board to try and come back with something that can might be able to compete.

I was under the belief that they would release the next-generation desktop chips based on the Pentium M core in early 2006.

I know for a fact, got friends and colleagues who work there plus im an Intel fan, that Intel are creating dual core. its already out. Dual core is really super cool (and of course, we all knew for a long time that Intel whipped crappy amd's a** in terms of speed, security and reliability - sorry, had to add this last sentence in to rub it in even more )
