Hello all,

just a quick topic to tell that I was a bit annoyed to find a $winnt$.inf file in my System32 folder revealing some information about my unattended installation... :o

So I'll delete this file at the end of my unattended installation:

DEL "%windir%\system32\$winnt$.inf"

Note that the vulnerability doesn't affect Windows 2000, XP, or 2003, just NT 4.0 Workstation.

It's not a bad idea to whack the file though :).

I noticed this file long ago, except it is in i386 folder left behind in C, presumably by factory installation with sysprep in my DELL laptop. The contents are the same as the one in system32.
