Wesmosis Posted October 14, 2005 Share Posted October 14, 2005 (edited) hey guyz how are ya ll?I managed to change the (white) backgound in any XP folders, by making an desktop.ini file and put the following informations:[{BE098140-A513-11D0-A3A4-00C04FD706EC}]Attributes=1IconArea_Image=.\background.jpg <------------------you photo name in the same folderIconArea_Text=0x00FFFFFF <--------------- to make the font whitethen make this folder in a system attribute simply by (for instance the folder name is WesmosisRun> CMD>c:\attrib Wesmosis +sBingo! now you folder will look aewsome by its new backgroundnow my qustion is how can I permanently change the background of the root of burned CD, I tried to put the desktop.ini & background.jpg on the Root of the CD, and burned it, did't work..any idea? cumminbk Posted October 17, 2005 Share Posted October 17, 2005 I dont know if this will help you but i have done some changes to my desktop.ini files and inorder to make any changes take effect i used ATTRIB +S to make it a system file so.ATTRIB +S "path your folder" just dont do the path to yoru desktop.ini its the path of the folder you wish to apply the changes to.
