HyperHacker
When I view secure pages, Firefox (V1.07) crashes randomly. I'm guessing this is the fault of one of the extensions. Is there an easier way to figure out which is causing it than by disabling them one by one? Here's a list of extensions I have installed: * DictionarySearch * ConQuery * Adblock (of course) * ForecastFox * User Agent Switcher * Context Highlight * GCache * IEView * Nuke Anything * Show Image * Translate * Linky * DragToTab * Plain Text Links * WayBack * StumbleUpon * ReloadEvery * DownTHEMall! * Tab Mix * Redirect Remover * Add'N'Edit Cookies
DigeratiPrime
id look through the mozillazine forums, but you have quite a few extensions. its very likely its one of the extensions thats responsible for the problem.http://forums.mozillazine.org/
bmn
its kinda hard to say exactly which one is causing that crash.i too had such situation.i solved it by disabling theme.for u observer closely, imean if it is crashing while using a particular extension then disable it.or else backup ur data using mozbackup tool.then uninstall fox completely then install it again. HyperHacker
Well I'm not using any themes and there doesn't seem to be any relation between the crashing and what, if anything, I do involving extensions. There must be like a filename or something in the crash log I could refer to.

HyperHacker
Nice pointless post. Anyway, I uninstalled MediaPlayerConnectivity because it wasn't working right anyway, and it hasn't crashed since...
HybridShadow
You might have to try it by disabling each one, i guess mozilla think firefox is so perfect they dont make it easy for you!If nto try opera or IE and see if it does it still! HyperHacker
Bleh. It crashed again, twice in a row. Guess it wasn't MPC's fault after all. >_<

suryad
I think it is the extensions. There is no guarantee that the extensions people are writing are well written for the browser. So...I think maybe it is back to the old install one extension and see if it crashes or not routine if you dont find anything helpful in the log file.
