September 26, 200520 yr Verizon stuck in a bunch of fiber optic lines in my neighborhood. The are pushing something call FIOS which allows speed up to Up to 30 Mbps/5 Mbps. When I need that kind of speed, I will get it. My $6.95 montly dial-up is good enough for me.
September 26, 200520 yr Author beauty! im on ntl 1 mb are ntl due to up their game?<{POST_SNAPBACK}>well they are aparently givin customers 10meg, but u get capped which i personally think is crap.ntl wont be able 2 compete with telewest if they cap their usersalthough i think upgrades are scheduled

October 19, 200520 yr I'm quite pleased with it and it's all going well so farlol im not barely manage to get over 350kb/s on most sites ,i tried download sp2 full fom microsoft and it started out at 450kb/s and quickly droped down to 230managed to get 250-300kb/s on 4 different files at the same time though so problem aint my end
October 19, 200520 yr Wow I am jealous. Have 3 mbps conn here in the US and it dont seem fast enough for me! I wish Verizon was investing heavily here on the West coast as they are on the East coast. I would love to have a 30 mbps conn!

October 26, 200520 yr I will soon in the next year or 2 get 24 Mbps/1Mbps for 63 USD/ 52 Euro they run it over the old state monopol phono companys old copper Cables. Edited October 27, 200520 yr by the-matrix
