Ok here is the problem. My PC finally went tits-up, dead, gone on to another world .

I have managed to cobble up some parts that have been donated to me . However I have no DDR ram. Does any have anyone they could spare??

what type of ddr dou you need ddr 333 (pc2700) or 400 (PC3200) ? I dont have any but it might help others to help you

Yeah, I've got a spare stick of 128mg DDR PC2100. Old stuff, but it's just sitting there if you need it.

He has 2 slots only for the ram, Board says

- Memory

· 2 DDR DIMM sockets to support two 184-pin 2.5V DDR SDRAM (DDR266/DDR200).

· Max. 2GB

Motherboard he is getting SYNTAX SV266ad

So it's old school then...anything over 2100 will work in most cases. I've got a few 512's that should work in there, I'll need to check what speed, but I know both are well over the 2100 spec and should throttle down. I can't ship em for free though, that's my only catch.

The SuperTalent, while generic in my opinion, is the better of the two...it's got a little heatspreader thing on it...cheese!
