I have all the files I need in a folder on my HD and want to build a bootable ISO with them, there starts the problems!

Can anyone give me an idiots guide on how to do it, including what application I need to build it - please -

If it is a WinXP CD, nLite will make light work of it. Just go to the last stage and it will do it for you.

many burner apps have a built-in "burn a bootable ISO" option.

like nero, its so amazing, if u can afford the ultra then get it, u wont regret it, but only get it if u do different types of discs, not just data cds/dvds
