hakeem5454 Posted August 1, 2005 Author Posted August 1, 2005 nothing really.. i was fooling around with this registry tweaker thing and i made it disable the system beep want me to post it here?
chessonly Posted August 1, 2005 Posted August 1, 2005 I just don't get it. how the registry can affect this hakeem, can u do me a favour? enable system beep through the registry and then restat to check if the beep still comes.
jcarle Posted August 1, 2005 Posted August 1, 2005 That registry setting controls only the system beeps inside of Windows. Usually when you get system beeps in Windows it's because you do not have your sound card installed.
big poppa pump Posted August 1, 2005 Posted August 1, 2005 From what I can tell you dont know the dman difference between BIOS beeps and Windows System Beeps!!!
hakeem5454 Posted August 3, 2005 Author Posted August 3, 2005 obviously buddy i dont know much about the inside of a computersorry im not as stuck up as u
big poppa pump Posted August 3, 2005 Posted August 3, 2005 Its not a question of being stuck up . You basically ended up wasting everyone's effort over here by not being able to distinguish between a BIOS beep and OS beep.
jcarle Posted August 4, 2005 Posted August 4, 2005 Its not a question of being stuck up . You basically ended up wasting everyone's effort over here by not being able to distinguish between a BIOS beep and OS beep.I agree 100%.
