Never released (became Whistler).That's wrong. Neptune was basically a failed alpha version of ME. It was supposed to be a Home version of Windows 2000, but it most certainly didn't have the same codebase, nor kernel. It's PV is 4x (2000 is 5x). I actually have a copy. Oh, that reminds me. July 26, 200521 yr Neptune is what XP Home is......And FYI, many of the features that were to be introduced in Neptune are finally making it, in Vista.
