BullGates
Just get your winxp cd and copy from the i386 folder the 2 files:NTLDRNTDETECT.COMthen you can use attrib +h +s to put the right attributes, but this is not mandatory. Ibis
This might be of interest: http://www.msfn.org/board/index.php?showtopic=51754&st=10#Calling ntldr and ntdetect for memory controller is just wrong, cause it has nothing to do with memory management, as stated by Microsoft themselves. After Windows has booted, ntldr and ntdetect is not used anymore.http://www.microsoft.com/resources/documen...mc_str_reii.asphttp://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/NTLDRhttp://billslater.com/teach/nt/cccpa/sec_5/sld007.htm

Electrician
There is nothing magical about the polish versions. IF you have access to an XP or win2k3 CD get the two files from there.Though I suspect that those with fast disk systems are not seeing any noticable improvement. The script just tweaks settings to cache more stuff in ram (and turns off a couple of things).I prefer to stay away from such twists (as opposed to tweaks). But as I said way back, I got faster boot times. Aegis
The memory controller resides in the kernel file (ntoskrnl.exe), so I doubt this works.
