I'll investigate further when I have time.
matrix0978 Posted May 4, 2005 Posted May 4, 2005 Hehe, very nice! Gunna check it out once you get the link
Tarun Posted May 5, 2005 Author Posted May 5, 2005 Hehe, very nice! Gunna check it out once you get the link<{POST_SNAPBACK}>I've got to find a host for it. I may look into some friends who can support it on their server pc's and thus would be a lot less bandwidth limitations.
skunkwerkz Posted May 5, 2005 Posted May 5, 2005 That really doesn't look like it should be that big I have been meaning to do one that's 210 for the mini cd.Best way is to get it up on a Torrent.SkunkWerkz
Tarun Posted May 5, 2005 Author Posted May 5, 2005 Any information on getting a torrent started would be helpful. Also, I'm updating the cd with a few things I forgot, so the original post will update frequently.I'll also add in the size of all the folders via a notation beside them.
Zxian Posted May 19, 2005 Posted May 19, 2005 I'm gonna be seeing if I can turn my desktop into a server (that's basically what it is now... just not "officially"). I'll be adding a tracker on there as well (for experimentation and kicks). I'll let you know how things go so I can track this for you (if you want).
k0pect8 Posted May 19, 2005 Posted May 19, 2005 SpywareBlaster 3.4 is out... need to update your TechCD.edit: nvm- I see you have v3.4 at your website (nice site, btw)

tarquel Posted May 19, 2005 Posted May 19, 2005 Just for curiousity (as I make up a cd front end for updating/fixing stuff in windows combined with the lovely booting 911 Rescue CD) - what sort of front end do ya use?I looked for a decent, easy to use, CD Menu system but everything i stumbled upon either cost money or didn't have the features I wanted/needed.Also, are you allowed to distribute a cd image containing software from companies - even if it is freely avaliable?I was gonna offer to host, but ppl downloading that size all the time wud really hit the bandwidth allowance i have with the hosting company lol Regards and looks good Nath.
medhunter Posted May 23, 2005 Posted May 23, 2005 1st : I it legal?2nd: I think it has good contents but I think it could be alot more better btw I made a cd a couple of month ago named [ MaXure ] (Max-Secure) but it was bootable with a handy graphic system & tools for rescue& it also had a nice GUI with autorun made by autoplay media studio 5 but made for me & my cousin (a Network admin) never shared it before ; maybe it is time.

I checked with multiple sources. Do you do webhosting yourself?1st : I it legal?2nd: I think it has good contents but I think it could be alot more better btw I made a cd a couple of month ago named [ MaXure ] (Max-Secure) but it was bootable with a handy graphic system & tools for rescue& it also had a nice GUI with autorun made by autoplay media studio 5 but made for me & my cousin (a Network admin) never shared it before ; maybe it is time.<{POST_SNAPBACK}>1. Yes.2. It's my first tech cd, so I'm learning a lot from this. I'm going to add an autorun exe that I'll make with Delphi eventually.
