johny128 Posted April 21, 2005 Posted April 21, 2005 http://ftp.mozilla.org/pub/mozilla.org/fir...05-aviary1.0.1/its quite better then 1.0.3 (on 1.0.3 i could not log into my etomite blog, on 1.0.4 beta it works fine ) btw, 2005 is a year 04 a month, 21 a day...and what does that 05 mean?
SiMoNsAyS Posted April 21, 2005 Posted April 21, 2005 i think it means build number, you know the fifth try before compiling...i'm using the 1.0.4 build from 2005.04.19 and runs without problems
XtremeMaC Posted April 22, 2005 Posted April 22, 2005 i think its 2005 as its released in 2005 and the rest is the date obviouslyi don't know how they update their file as but they might be sorting with years.2003 - 01.05.03 v.001 ?2004 - 04.05.04 v1.0etc..its funny how they released a new beta after a short time of 1.0.3
Tarun Posted April 22, 2005 Posted April 22, 2005 You may have better luck getting them from here: http://ftp.mozilla.org/pub/mozilla.org/fir...st-aviary1.0.1/
Nanaki Posted April 22, 2005 Posted April 22, 2005 You _DO_ know the only thing different is the version number right? NOTHING else is new. It's exactly the same as 1.0.3, so your problem could probably be solved by an easy reinstall. If you want something new, go grab a nightly.
matrix0978 Posted April 22, 2005 Posted April 22, 2005 It may seem like nothing is new. Like no new features and etc. But they have increased the security and the reliablility in the program.
Nanaki Posted April 23, 2005 Posted April 23, 2005 No checkins were done in the 1.0.4 branch...Believe you me, if it's Firefox, I know it.
Tarun Posted May 14, 2005 Posted May 14, 2005 http://ftp.mozilla.org/pub/mozilla.org/fir...05-aviary1.0.1/its quite better then 1.0.3 (on 1.0.3 i could not log into my etomite blog, on 1.0.4 beta it works fine ) btw, 2005 is a year 04 a month, 21 a day...and what does that 05 mean? <{POST_SNAPBACK}>Directories are named according by YYYY-MM-DD-HH-[Milestone].Files in the directory 1999-06-01-19-M6 are Milestone 6candidates built on June 1, 1999 at 7:00pm PDT.
