GreenMachine Posted February 15, 2005 Posted February 15, 2005 Hmmm ... That is the second time I heard "mailing list". Only thing is ... I don't have one! I think you send that report somewhere ... where the moon don't shine! Post the logs for me to look at.

BaTLeZone Posted February 15, 2005 Posted February 15, 2005 Hm.... seams like the email is cross wired....I got email addressed to freeware@xpcreate.com form members of this forum sent to my email account. If you like GM I can forward the messages to you?
GreenMachine Posted February 15, 2005 Posted February 15, 2005 WOW! That's really cool. Gotta see where that came from! For those of you that replied, please don't be surprised of the non answers ...Now I see. Didn't realize that actually worked. What I was trying to create was a simple web based mailing list.Sorry for any inconvienience that may have caused y'all. I will be deleting all that, because the last thing I need is another place to discover problems!
GreenMachine Posted February 15, 2005 Posted February 15, 2005 Oh well, silly me ...If anyone sent anything there that was for my attention, please post in this forum instead.Mailing list deleted. I'm glad I did not add ME to that list: I hate spam!
PacRat Posted February 18, 2005 Posted February 18, 2005 This is probably very rare ... but ... No Probs at all with the New XpCreate for me. Keep up the Good Work GM.
GreenMachine Posted February 18, 2005 Posted February 18, 2005 Not rare, just rare that it is posted about!
Bitfrotter Posted February 18, 2005 Posted February 18, 2005 Greenmachine, Thanks for the good work. I did a XP SP2 job with some extra apps and it worked without errors. The things I saw are already discussed in this thread. Such as the SVC directories that are not created.
GreenMachine Posted February 21, 2005 Posted February 21, 2005 Thanks, Bitfrotter! A few more, and the success stories will outnumber the ... others!
Sgt_Strider Posted February 24, 2005 Posted February 24, 2005 The newest version is still beta right? When can we expect a final version?
GreenMachine Posted February 24, 2005 Posted February 24, 2005 All versions are final: I don't do beta!Due to the nature of XPCREATE - keeping up with Mcrosoft's updates - it will always be a work in progress, in the sense that every month may require some updating. Beta versions are for submitting to testers. In my shop, all testing is done in house.
Glowy Posted March 15, 2005 Posted March 15, 2005 A few more, and the success stories will outnumber the ... others!<{POST_SNAPBACK}>Just helping to outnumber the ... othersworked like a charm here!WinXP NLDthanks again!
BaTLeZone Posted March 31, 2005 Posted March 31, 2005 Well every thing is working but......with win2000 after install is completed I go to install power dvd 5 manually it errors out and says I need to install DX8 or higher. DX9 apears to be installed and working but it does not show under add/remove programs (not shure if thats the problem or not).with xp I don't have any problems using the same power dvd 5.I was wondering if any one else has come across this issue.
YBova Posted April 1, 2005 Posted April 1, 2005 Just Installed Windows 2000 (created with all GreenMachines failsafe patches) and installed PowerDVD ver 5.0.0.603 No problems.DX9 does not show under add/remove programs.I remember installing an old game once, that didn't recognise my current DX, which proceeded to install an earlier version. Game worked OK, not much else did.Though I doubt, BaTLeZone, judging from your posts that this would be your problem. Thanks GreenMachine.... Great product.Next step.. make an XP disc and start over.If it ain't broke, see if you can brake it, cuz fixin it's fun.
gbmacman Posted April 4, 2005 Posted April 4, 2005 GM, Awesome work.XP works great, but i'm having a problem with 2k.The explorer folder pane is grayed out. This was apparently a problem some time ago and discussed here link. This has only occured with the new version. I have been able to build successfully with the old version using the same files (except ones the old version cant handle properly).I am still testing to isolate more specific details, but looking for any ideas or suggestions.
