  3. Oops! What was I thinking (not) Thanks... However my only search result on "Cumulative Security Update for Internet Explorer for Windows XP Service Pack 2 (KB883939)" is dated 6/2/2005 and is about 5 times the size approximated by the critical updates page????
  4. Security Update for Windows XP (KB896358) Security Update for Windows XP (KB890046) Security Update for Windows XP (KB896422) Security Update for Windows XP (KB896428) Cumulative Security Update for Internet Explorer for Windows XP Service Pack 2 (KB883939) Security Update for Windows XP (KB893066) Windows Malicious Software Removal Tool - June 2005 (KB890830) Has anyone links to these hotfixes? Are they in fact hotfixes that can be utilised by XPCREATE? I've searched Microsoft, as I have done in the past, for downloadable formats of these latest updates but have been unable to locate any. Have Microsoft changed their format? These updates appear only avaliable through "Automatic Update". Please, anyone, what have I missed here?
  5. Some additional SATA/RAID support for XPCREATE If you have any of the following, currently unsupported, controllers and wish to have XPCREATE include your driverdisc then grab the attached "Append_XPCREATE.CAB". nVIDIA nForce™ RAID Class Controller (NVATABUS.SYS) (NVRAID.SYS) Silicon Image SiI 3114 SoftRAID 5 Controller (SI3114R5.SYS) VIA VT6410, VT6420, VT6421, VT8237 SATA RAID v3.10D (viapdsk.sys) (viamraid.sys) Extract "XPCREATE.CAB" to a new folder. Extract the attached "Append_XPCREATE.CAB" to the same folder. Copy "CABARC.EXE" from your XPCREATE folder to the new folder. Run the "MakeXPcab.cmd" (included in the attached CAB). Copy the new "XPCREATE.CAB" to your XPCREATE folder. Append_XPCREATE.CAB
  6. I was able to fudge a working disc by ......... Sorry.. Information is withdrawn in fear of breaching copywrite.
  7. 2722 is very buggy and also needs online activation. As 2722 was the first jump to dvd9 support, I'd wait a while before expecting a bug free application.
  8. I've browsed quite a few forums, some more than once. I joined this one to enable the search facility for help with XPCREATE. As long as the search continues to work, I'll probably not post many questions. I've been repairing computers since the Z80 was king.

    New Version

Just Installed Windows 2000 (created with all GreenMachines failsafe patches) and installed PowerDVD ver 5.0.0.603 No problems. DX9 does not show under add/remove programs. I remember installing an old game once, that didn't recognise my current DX, which proceeded to install an earlier version. Game worked OK, not much else did. Though I doubt, BaTLeZone, judging from your posts that this would be your problem. Thanks GreenMachine.... Great product. Next step.. make an XP disc and start over. If it ain't broke, see if you can brake it, cuz fixin it's fun.
