i'd defenitly take it :D if it's not satisfy me i can still switch back to XP Pro SP2 :D

I don't know if i will or not I'm kinda of fed up with shelling out 300 bucks for an os.

I' won't install longhorn right away. I will be afraid of security vulnerabilities for at least the first year. The licensing sounds ugly and I might never accept it. Also I don't want the OS to drain away my system resources.

FYI my favorite OS right now is win 98se which runs like a dream with 1 GB ram and 0.5 GB swap partition.

i'll stick to xp till i find suitable longhorn on my current hardware (i won't spent so much money on a new cpu, ram, video card, hd...)

I havent seen it in operation yet...

looks good tho...

Is there a demo? beta version around?

soulin, who or what is Monad?

MadGutts, yes there is a beta with any and all of MS' products. The sad part is people who shouldn't have it in the first place, get it thru P2P networks, take it to be the real deal (which happens to not even be finalised actually) and start to accuse the beta product of being a lot of bad things.

There is no beta right now. You can expect a beta eventually but they are still only on alpha versions and it's still quite buggy. Which is why MS hasn't released it yet, since it has tons of problems. (even more then windows ME right now)

Although I find this poll to be sort of silly. I mean granted most people are going to upgrade. You could have asked will your upgrade immediatly. But I mean after a few years the large masses will upgrade cause support getscut from the older OS's anyways.

This poll is not silly.

Because some people will STICK to their older versions, or move to other platforms. There's a lot of love-hate regarding longhorn lately.

Hi ... XP Pro is doing the trick for me now , I can wait it out for a least a year or so

Will I take Longhorn? I expect so. :w00t:
