Thank you ppl for these wonderfull appz and the kind words about my site, i am blown away with the amount of free and very usefull s.a.a. there actualy are.

I think albator is a lot more enthusiast than i am and maybe has more time to work on the stand alone app site.

I have been planing to eventualy sort the site into catagories and improve the layout like below, one app per line in a table;

App name - Pure/Unpure - Description - Screenshot - Download - Homepage

adding a feedback page or in time a forum. All this and a few other things will happen eventualy but, if someone has the time and enthusiasm to continue with this site now, i would be happy to hand over development, and help out when i can, i will always be on the lookout for a good free standy. ;)

I think stand x has the potential to be a great site, it just needs a little time and effort, i am willing to keep it alive and work on it when i can but if someone has more time, patience, will and skills i`m not goin to stand in your way and would be more than happy to hand it over.

Alarm 2.2 works under Windows 95/98/NT40. It is active as the

SystemTrayIcon and at the given time plays the file "ALARM.WAV". This file has

This program can handle all your visible and invisible applications

Little Browser Bumpers

I got this idea of "bumping" the mouse on each side as a kind of

program. For example, you can setup this program so that every time you

launch Notepad.exe your CD-ROM drive would open as well. For a better

example, just think of a program you use all of the time that requires a

CD. Now think how convienent it would be if when you launched that

Enabler

I wrote this program because I was curious about manipulating object

properties in running applications. Well that's what the program does.

You are given a list of all top level windows, you can open the windows

and browse the child controls and change their state. I have found many

Text File Line Stripper

Since I wrote this program I have gone on to working with HTML forms and

CGI scripts for automating the process of a student answering a quiz.

This program DOES NOT DO THAT. It is a simple tool for creating HTML web

page quizzes. The students must then manually compose and email their

replies to the central site.

HideWindow does just what its name implies, it hides windows. It uses a

couple of different API tricks to try to fool a window that it's hiding

this exercise is to not hide normal windows, you can just minimize

String Search
