Winamp 5.0.8 Msi Release

Featured Replies

I have a question for everyone watching this thread...

Choice A: Build Winamp MSI based off of 5.09

Choice B: Wait for 5.091 which is SUPPOSED to be out at the end of the week, so that all of 5.09's bugs are fixed and no one complains.

Just post your vote

How do you know B is coming out the end of this week?

If you're sure about it, then I vote for B, otherwise both A & B :P:blushing:

Definately option B.

Less work for you for starters and it'll save a lot of hassle. Besides for now 5.08 is working fine.

Version 5.091 is out now, as you can see at the MSFN Frontpage News. So you've been right Alanoll.

Just a question about those switches.

Does XFULL=1 install everything that is available in the directory ..(I'm using CAB method) or if I havent all components there it will error out if all not present?

EDIT: I have found it out that XFULL=1 will not work if not ALL components is present..

Edited by Clint

you're using an outdated version of the MSI :P

Heh, well...it's done now, with a mile of switches.. :sneaky:

..nice and tight now, nice package :)
