A minor design addition... I think it'd be nice to have "last updated (or last modified) <date>" on every page.

that shouldn't be TOO hard. Of course for this update, I would just put the same date at all the pages :P

Right-click, "view page info" will tell you those details.

Mmmm... not sure it'll work in IE or Opera ;-) Could you please tell me how to see the same info in IE, for instance?

I've spent almost 4 hours today writing....just thought I'd give alittle progress report.

If I keep this pace up, you people might get a Christmas present :)

Just a quick suggestion. There still seems to be a bit of confusion surrounding the way RunOnceEx.cmd and [GuiRunOnce] function. Specifically I think the phrase on the timeline page that states they execute "at the same time" could be explained a little better. See this thread here for an example of what I mean.

I must have been answering this one millions of times... if you want to move the default location of:

Program Files

Common Program Files

Documents and Setting

you have to partition and format the drive BEFORE running the Unattended Setup because only the Windows destination drive gets formated.

[Unattended]
   ProgramFilesDir="D:\Program Files"
   CommonProgramFilesDir="D:\Program Files\Common Files"

[GuiUnattended]
   ProfilesDir="E:\Documents and Settings\"

I'm on the last branch of the site...

However, the time frame is more like..."when I get in the groove?"

I'm hoping by the end of next week at the latest, assuming all the kinks are worked out of the database...

Do you plan on putting out a PDF version of it as well, so users can look at it offline?

of course, though I'm not sure the database would work correctly with that.

database? could you explain more in detail please.

sure....read the rest of the thread.

Inform people about the new /integrate:"path:\tofile.exe" switch that most post SP2 hotfixes have (only if downloaded from the download centre, and are the full redistributable patch; not the patches from the Windows Update website).
